I use this for many applications - though ironically, I don't own an airbrush! Mixed with an oil paint, it makes a cheap and effective oil wash (more information on Youtube). It is also useful for removing stubborn paint from brushes without having to do a deep clean and can thin down most paints (not just airbrush paints). It is also priceless for clearing out the last few drops of paint from a pot (whether painting or decanting GW paints into dropper bottles). So many uses and you only need a couple of drops at a time - awesome!

I usually make my own airbrush thinner, but I needed something reliable to thin down citadel acrylic paint; so I could transfer from the pots into dropper bottles. The Army Painter Airbrush Medium is perfect for this and made a success of the operation by making the paint pour easily from one to the other.

I've been using this airbrush medium to thin down my normal acrylic paints from Army Painter so that I can use them in my airbrush, and it has been working nicely. I am new to airbrushing, and I only have the very cheapest handheld airbrush, so maybe I just don't know any better, but this stuff really seems to do the job. I've had minimal clogging issues, and cleaning the airbrush afterwards has been quite easy. The lighter belly colour on the troll in the picture attaches was airbrushed using a mix of Army Painter acrylics along with the airbrush medium in a roughly 60/40 mix.. My only gripe is that it's a fairly small bottle, it feels like I will go through it fairly quickly.

Iv just started airbrushing and finding the right products to do the right job is important. This product is a great all round product. It helps with flow improver. Before I use any paint I put a small bit in the airbrush just to make sure I have a good clean flow. Then I use it also as a thinner too. I use a small mixing cup with my paint in it and then add the product. It thins my paint perfectly and gets the best consistency for a airbrush. Army Painter is a company that is designed for airbrush products and come with great quality. Cant fault.

I've started painting the miniatures for my board games and decided to get my own airbrush kit instead of having to drive out to my model railroad club which is about 12 miles away. Works great. Use it to thin the paint and for cleaning my airbrush.
