Excellent brushes, work very well as one would expect with Kohlinksy sable. Brushes comfortable to use, easy to close after use and have a little hole in the "cap" to allow drying after use. The Case is hard pseudo-leather and a bit if a shame as a nicer leather case would be the icing on the cake so to speak. Having said that, the case is good and protects the brushes well.

Excellent product which I love using. Well made and great quality. Holds water well and is lovely to paint with. Fits into small paint pack easily.

I’m very happy with the set. I also have Da Vinci Maestro series 35 and 10 brushes so, I can compare. The difference between them is the kolinsky sable vs red sable, the second one is less expensive. They are slightly less resilient and may have a shorter life span. However, the quality of these brushes is still more than fine.

This was such an amazing value, I'm not a trained artist, but just from eyeballing these brushes, you more or less are getting sizes 1, 2, and 3 even though they are all size 3, because of the differences in the da Vinci brush lines that they carry. If you want to experiment to test all 4 types, this is great for that too, but if you are on a budget, this is a great way to get a nice selection of the smaller round brush sizes.

Expected 4 good brushes. Got 1 very good, 1 good, and 2 junk brushes (that were coarse and did not keep their point).
