I cannot tell you how many multi-function x-mas lights I’ve bought over the years. So I have plenty of experience to compare this particular set to. Every light was lit and working properly as soon as I plugged them in. I’m very pleased that this set performs every function I was looking for. The colors are as described. I would even go as far as to say they look nicer than the photo’s where they are lit up. I personally think they look great as Christmas lights rather than let’s say lights on your deck in the summer.. I think it would look like you still have your x-mas lights up in June. Sure they include blue & amber, but they have plenty of green/red mixed in and I think they look quite festive. The multi-function feature in this set work just as good as any other I have purchased in the past. Sure unlike some they do not “memorize” your settings, but I’ve found that these multi function sets are harder to come by than in years past, so overall I was very happy with the quality, esthetics as well as the purchase price. I do believe a set similar to this one that I have, cost quite a bit more and does have the memory function. A simple solution I’ve used and continue to use: After you have turned your lights on, count how many times you have hit the button to the settings of your choice. I usually will repeat this process just to make sure that when they are plugged in, the cycle starts in the same place. So if I hit the function button 4x’s from the start, it’s pretty easy to find your place every time you turn the lights on, on your tree. For me, if this saves $10+ on the purchase price, so be it! My first couple of multi-function lights I bought 20 years ago, pretty cheap might I add, lasted several years before I had to replace them. I have found ever since then, I’m lucky if I get 2 Christmases out of them! But to be fair, I think Christmas lights in general though they are much better on energy efficiency, they don’t seem to last as well as they used to. I’ve had these lights on pretty consistently for more than a week and I have not had a single problem yet. I’m really hoping these last a few years for me. If they all work properly by next Christmas, I will be sure to buy at least another set. Just to describe the video I will include with this review, my tree this year has this particular multi-function set as well as several OTHER sets. I have a few sets that stay on, and I have this set mixed in. I have the function setting where the lights VERY GRADUALLY get brighter and brighter followed by a slow, gradual dimming of the lights. I think it gives our tree a soft, understated twinkling effect. (I had bought a set of twinkling lights before and I could not stand them.. and they gave me a headache!) I’ve had a lot of compliments on the lights on our Christmas tree and my kids love it! I find myself staring at the tree often, watching the slow change pattern and it’s pretty cool effect. I know that decorating of ANY kind, especially a Christmas tree is all about personal preference. With that said, these lights were exactly what I was looking for. I’m very pleased with my purchase. 🤞🏼Fingers crossed that they last a few years.

These lights have some nice colors and pretty nice options for blinking and fading. I wish there was a nicer fading option than the one available, I think it stays dark/off in sections too long. I was able to find a blinking option I like. I included a video of it so you can see. I have 4 boxes of lights for a 7.5 ft Christmas tree. I wrapped pretty generously too so everything is pretty well lit. I would recommend these lights, but just be aware the ends of the lights do not have plugs so the only way to connect them is by plugging them I the backs of each other at the one outlet plugin. You'll have a train of light plugs coming out of your outlet but it works.

The lights are so beautiful. The quality of the lights are amazing.

***DO NOT BUY*** FALSE ADVERTISING*** #1.) pictures on ad and on box show 5 colors. red, orange, blue, green, and pink. THIS IS NOT TRUE. Both sets came in only 4 colors: red, orange, blue, green. #2.) advertising claims to have eight features. THIS IS NOT TRUE. on every single function (except the steady on function) the string starts out for a few seconds doing what it claims, then malfunctions, and alternativly flashs violently. I tried every single function multiple times, and after a few seconds it always reverted to flashing violently. and I'm not talking about like a flasher bulb flash setting, I got nauseous looking at the lights and had to turn them off because it just violently alternated the lights at random patterns. #3.) this string only has two circuits, red & orange, and blue & green. so no matter what setting you have it on, it just flashes those two circuits. the individual lights do not flash, and there is no discernible pattern on any setting. so this is not a multifunction set, a chasing set or a twinkling set. it's either going to be steady on, or alternatively flashing violently. 4.) both sets that I got had been opened before, and appear to have been stuffed back in the box. Basically what this is. Is manufacture error product, that was put to market anyways. whoever is selling this knows full well that these sets are not any good. AND DEFINITELY not worth $25 each. BEWARE do not buy

They work as stated.

Item was as pictured and described. Ordered them for next Christmas so I can not tell you about the operation.

Lights are incandescent and are on the warm light side. Work fine.

I am pleased with the lights and ordered a second set. However, I gave 4 stars for the following reason. The packaging states that the set contains 4 extra bulbs. It did not. It only contained 2 extra bulbs. Normally this would not be an issue but the bulbs required are 1.8V replacement bulbs which I cannot find either instore or online. I would really like the extra bulbs that I did not receive, and information about where I can purchase 1.8V replacement bulbs if I need more in the future.
