I have a lot of Klein tools, this one didn't disappoint. It is so much better than the really inexpensive models you get at the store with the initials HF. It is basic in functionality but does exactly what I needed to find hot spots. Highly recommend.

Temperature Accuracy not perfect but is reasonable for the price. Works well using in attic, garage and AC air. Seems fairly durable; so far. Quality is good for the price, if you're looking for "close temp" it's worth it.

I use this product to check the axel temp on my 3 axel trailer, if one is running hot I will know, this is a great value for the peace of mind it gives me, accuracy seems to be good however in my application I’m measuring one axel to the other. Still well worth the price.

I looked at several brands of these infrared thermometers before buying the Klein at nearly double the price of all the generic Chinese copycats. I am sure this one was made in China as well, but it is backed up by a trusted name. I have tested it on many surfaces and it is amazingly accurate. I am very happy with this purchase and it will be very helpful to me diagnosing mechanical issues in the future (bearing/bushing failure, friction causing heat).
