Q: Are the wires made of actual copper or is copper colored?

It says copper-plated copper with a tarnish-resistant finish. I haven't yet used this wire, but all of the Anezus wires I have tried, have worked very well for me. There are some brands I avoid, and some brands I deliberately look for. Anezus is one that I look for since it has worked for me in the past. So far I have used the 20 ga gold colored and silver colored, and they work great.

Q: Is this strong enough to make (secure) bead connectors for bracelet/necklace or should I get the 18 gauge? Thank you.

I have found it to be strong enough, and it is easier to work with than some other brands. The 18 gauge is a bit harder to work with.

Q: like another customer asked, what is the difference between kc gold and regular gold?

KC gold is a more muted/matte wire, while regular gold is a shiny gold colored wire.
