Nice book

This is great for practicing my sightreading, but I wish it had some more challenging pieces. Still a very nice book for someone who's been studying for a few years

I recently started playing my violin again after over 15 years and wanted some music to place. I have really enjoyed playing many of the songs from this book. They’re not too hard and most aren’t too easy.

Most of these songs are in the keys of C, G, and A. Totally playable music. Very fun songs in differing styles.

I'm writing this review because we did not know what level of difficulty this book was written for. My daughter's teacher estimates this to be Suzuki level 2, and even saw songs that are in the book itself. It is too easy for the daughter we ordered it for, but we can save it for her younger sister.

My daughter kept complaining how bored she was playing the same old thing, so I bought her this! Did the trick! It doesn't feel or seem like they are the FULL songs, all the way? But it works for a bored kiddo. :)

Very impressed with the book. It has a wide variety of easy beginner to intermediate skill violin pieces and a large variety of about 6mm thickness. This book was on special when I got it and would love the other ones available but they are too expensive. I do recommend this book.
