Not really HAM.
Not really HAM. It is as others have stated SPAM, which is processed pork pressed into a shape to be sliced. This product is very salty and can not be truly considered to be ham in the traditional sense. It may be a pressed/processed product made from scraps of ham left over, but the processing removes it from being truly considered to be HAM. It is processed lunch meat. Would never buy again and would never recommend any canned form of ham. Hope that helps.

This canned ham was OK but a bit mushy in texture. I would buy it again for some kind of casserole..... Price is reasonable and good to have a couple on hand for emergency or some kind of "creativity". I did use some pineapple slices with some of the ham. Tuned out fine.

Chunks of ham glued together
I agree it did have a slight rotten smell which made me think it had gone bad. It's not a single cut of ham which I thought it would be, but instead chunks of ham glued together which makes it impossible to have clean slices as it crumbles. The taste leaves a lot to be desired and it's salty. Definitely will not buy again.
