LG Electronics 3108ER1001B Washing Machine Pump Housing

Excellent part for an LG clothes washer. Appears exact dimensions as the old pump housing and fit the new electric pump correctly. However the old drain pump filter barely made contact for a seal upon screwing it in. The old filter had tabs moulded into it that stopped it short of a good contact. Water was slowly weeping out of it when the washer was running. I used silicone grease on the rubber gasket for a temporary fix. I ordered a new filter from Amazon. I switched it out and it was a perfect seal (383EER2001A Washer Drain Pump Filter). So if you buy a new pump housing also buy a new filter. In the picture the black housing is the old housing and the light gray is the new replacement housing. The pictured filter is the new replacement for the new housing.

This part fit just like the original. It was also easy to replace from the bottom of our LG Tromm washer. (Some you tube videos will show taking off the entire front of the washer in order to replace this part. You CAN replace from the bottom instead. Just gently lay the machine on its side, loosen a few screws and you are there. Much easier!) This part fixed a large leak that came from the bottom of our machine and saved us a lot of money and a big mess!

Perfect fit and was the right part, just as described.

Seemed like good quality. This is for drain pump only. I needed housing with both sides open. I did have to return for the circulation port side not drilled out which was easy.

A little different than the OEM version but it fits and works perfectly. The installation difficulty is based on the location of the pump housing in the washer, not the part itself. LG is to blame for the difficulty.

No quality control..Don't bother. Portable holes weren't drilled and pin holes in all the screw taps...will leak...if you buy it check it before you install it

I ordered this assuming that it had moving parts. Turns out the body is just that - a shell (no propeller blade or other moving parts) so unlikely it would ever need to be replaced unless something caused it to crack like freezing. Mine was fine and I left it in the machine. I just replaced the pump (which doesn't look much like a pump thus my assumption that this shell contained moving parts) and tossed this shell in the can.
