Works as intended, one-way to HDMI
Works as intended. Seems sturdy and good quality. Note transmission direction is USB C to HDMI. It will NOT work in reverse, if you can manage that. Make sure your USB C port can handle video. I would purchase again.

Works great.
This little unit works great. No need for drivers, it just worked right out of the box. I am running Windows 11 on a laptop. The unit feels solid and the price was right.

Great price for these adapters and works perfectly with my Surface Doc. Only running 1080 60hz monitors though, haven't tried 4K, but so far no issues with 1080.

Needed this for external monitor for my Mac. Was a good price and works fine so far.

bad quality
Worked for about a couple weeks and then wasn’t able to connect my Macbook to my LG monitor. Also, the image on both my monitor and laptop screen flickered while using. The coloring of my laptop screen also became distorted and looks as if there’s an infrared filter after I started using. Not sure if this is due to the monitor or the adapter, but will be returning.

Works; But Not a Recent HDMI Standard
When connecting my 144hz monitor to this adapter, the max refresh rate listed was 120hz which causes artifacts on my display. Newer versions of HDMI are more than capable of running 1080P @ 144hz, but this adapter just can't do it.This is not a limitation of the USB-C port; connected a USB-C to DisplayPort adapter and the monitor ran at 144hz. Unfortunately that adapter doesn't wake from Sleep/Monitor Off.
