Put Your Water Where You Want the Roots to Go
I already have a few in use that have lasted me some 10yrs, despite the repeated gnawing by squirrels. Now that I have more trees, I have purchased more of these.

No evaporations loss, water and Fertilizer to roots
I will never plant another tree without these. In a high mountain dessert getting the water to the trees roots without evaporation loss is making my trees bigger and healthier than the neighbors and I am enjoying more shde in one to two years than they are in 5!!

You need these
I use these for every tree or large shrub I plant. Living in the desert it’s important to get water to your plant, not just wet the ground above it. If you don’t use these, you are just letting the water evaporate into the air. These stakes let you supply your plants with the water they need, right where they need it. Rich…

Needed to us an auger to install (per instructions for non-soft soil)
Here in the desert southwest, I definitely felt the need to use a 1.2 inch auger to make it easier to put this into the ground. I can't imagine doing it without drilling the hole first and still needed to soak the hole several times on the way down for the auger to penetrate. The auger is recommended in the stake's instructions for this kind of ground. Also, I needed to use an extension to get deep enough for the 36" stake.

Product works and customer service is excellent!
I have been adding these to help my trees survive the Texas heat. I added some perhaps two months ago to two trees I planted this spring that weren’t doing well. They went from half-dead to thriving. My chaste tree has noticeably grown and is flowering, and my tiny pomegranate tree has added at least a foot in height after barely growing at all since it was planted in early Spring. I have been adding more and more of these deep drip spikes to the trees, and recently ordered another set. I contacted the seller over a delivery issue and they were friendly and responsive and took care of the issue very quickly. I’d give the product and the company 6 stars, if I could.

They work!
Wonderful product for a specific difficulty with watering certain trees and plants. When using the 2' stakes, they have overflown onto the ground .... a backfilled & hardpacked, subdivision home front and back yard. Slowing down the water input easily handled the difficulty. I didn't break any when hammering them into this hard backfilled small boulders ground ... though I did slowly soften the ground with water seeping from the hose ... and used some 'rebar' stakes to pound small hole to help ... had to move around some small boulders underground. It has been worth it!! When we moved in 3 years ago, some of the trees had areas that were dying. I easily saw the problem... and spoke with neighbors ... who had the same problems ... some cut down the trees (loosing the precious shade here in Nevada). Other neighbors paid landscapers to dig out and bury 3" PVC pipe with french drain holes, for using a hose to water. These posts work as advertised. If you have situations like ours, expect some extra work ... but they are effective with what they do. Would I reorder them ... I already have ... for some of the low bushes and certain flowering plants.

Solid even in rocky hard soil
Have very hard, rocky soil in Arizona and this handled significant pounding with a sand filled, rubber sledge hammer. It did stop penetrating against presumed hard rock, but didn't break. Better than expected for a plastic/pvc product.

Great Quality!
I was pleasantly surprised with the high quality of these tree stakes. They are well made and very sturdy. I used a high pressure hose nozzle to create the hole so as to avoid cutting any of the tree's roots instead of trying to pound them into the ground. Here in central Florida the sand gets so dry in the winter that the water beads up and will not soak into the ground. So these watering stakes irrigate all the way down to the roots.
