I was glad to find this replacement foil and cutter set for my Remington electric razor. I had thought I could pick one off the shelf at one of the local stores but could not find it in stock. So Amazon came in pretty handy with quick delivery. This kit fit perfectly. I used my old Remington for a trip but I forgot that even though it cut my whiskers well, it didn’t shave as close as my Norelco shaver does. But to rejuvenate my Remington to operational status, this replacement fit well.

The picture shown is outdated and misleading. Remington has clearly changed the blade design, likely as a cost-cutting measure and the result is a huge drop in quality. I’ve used Remington shavers for over 20 years, but if this continues, it will be my last. The new blades barely cut hair, requiring 30+ passes for a single shave, and they don’t get nearly as close as the original design. In fact, my old worn-out blades still perform better than these new ones. I’ll probably switch back to my old blades and only use the new screens until they wear out, then either try the China made replacements (which still follow the original design) or move to another brand. This was the worst shave I’ve ever had with a Remington product. Disappointing to see another company put profits ahead of customers.
