No, it is not. My apologies. The Master's Laser Screwdriver is nothing more than a toy or a cosplay prop. It does light up (and it makes a couple of noises,) but the light that is emitted is not enough to be a laser pointer or a flashlight/torch.

So... My Master's Screwdrivers spring loaded feature has exploded out the back end. Has anyone else experienced this? And if so, how do I fix it?

Had this happen multiple times. Just put Krazy Glue on the part of the end cap that goes on the spring.

Does it come in the Underground box

I'm not exactly sure what the underground box looks like. The one mine came in was the second wave box. The cylinder blue with the master on it. Classic doctor who logo with a time line that the master was on the show for. I hope this helped.
