Prints clearly. Cartridges dry out and will not function if printer not used for several weeks.

Even though I use a little bit more of the black ink, I buy the combo pack because of the price break. And I know I'll eventually use the color cartridge. I also like that these cartridges are part of a return, recycle program. That makes me feel better about not littering. To take part in the recycle program, just get on the Lexmark.com website. Through them, you can order up to 3 pre-paid return envelopes to be mailed to you free of charge. Each envelope will hold 2 of these cartridges. Mail them back to Lexmark at no charge to you. I don't really keep track of how long each cartridge lasts, but I only order them maybe twice a year! I use my printer for home only and I try not to print out too many things because I don't like wasting paper. The cartridges are easy to install and easy to return....no muss, no fuss!

Trust me, save your money. I bought this Lexmark No 36 Black & No 37 Color Combo Pack, Return Program Print Cartridges pack on July 29, 2010 and was out of ink on the same day. The color cartridge ran completely out after 15 copies. Really after only 15 sheets of copy. The black lasted for about 35 copies and a little more only because it printed the latter in grey until it ran out. The color copies were a kind of washed out color and the paper felt wet and curled a little until it dried. The pull tab on both cartridges was barely attached which would lead one to believe that someone prior to me had already pulled the tabs off. If these things were given away for free I wouldn't accept them. I now have the Lexmark 36XL black and 37XL color combo pack. When I bought my printer these were the cartridges that came with it. They lasted well over a year and the print quality is excellent. I should have bought them in the first place and saved myself some money. Though the 36XL and 37XL costs more they last way longer. I still find it hard to believe that the Lexmark no 36 black & no 37 color combo lasted one day after only about 50 or less copies. I hate writing totally bad reviews, but I could not find any redeeming qualities for the 36 black & 37 color combo cartridges.

I purchased this product in November. In the package was note asking that you to contact the seller if you have a problem.I sent an email last night explaining I had used the printer very little maybe less than 20 sheets. When I printed pages yesterday it said ink was extremely low. I was pleasantly surprised I had an email this morning. The seller asked that I try and reset and see if it made a difference.I followed their instructions and sadly it did not fix the problems Sent the email and they immediately sent an email telling me they were sending me a replacement cartridge.I just don't think you can ask for any better service than this. And yes I will purchase from this seller again and again.Would recommend purchasing your ink from them because their customer service is fantastic.
