Orlimar Golf Black-Red F80 Mallet Style Putter, New

What a great putter! Well balanced and designed. I'm getting all my putts closer to the hole, or in! I can finally feel.confident that I can get and keep my putts online. I made a couple of 8-10 footers and rolled in a 35 footer for a birdie on a par 5. Unbeatable for the price!

Great putter with good swing weight. It came with a oversize putter grip that was easy to hold. It sure improved my putting and the price was good.

Absolutely a terrible experience. I waited for a whole week just to open the package to a shaft that is snapped in half and not able to be fixed at all.

I decided to switch from my old Snake Eyes putter to a mallet style putter to see if it might help my game, and this one looked good for the price. I had tried the "brand name" version of this one at the local golf shop and liked it, but this Orlimar was less than a quarter of the price. To me, it feels the same - nice balance and swing. The oversized grip is comfortable and gives me really good control of my shots. My only issue is the paint finish. When I first got the club, I was running my fingers over the bottom of the head, and a little black paint peeled off, revealing the red underneath. Its not a big deal, but I don't have any confidence in the longevity if the finish. I went ahead and ordered a cover, just to give the paint a fighting chance. Overall I'm still happy with this purchase.

I'm 6' 2" and this 35" putter suits my height better than shorter putters. I've only spent about 1/2 hour on the practice green, but thus far the putter feels well-balanced, the weight is just right for me, and I made more putts on the practice green from various distances than I have been making with my previosu putter. I wasn't thrilled with the sound it made initially, but when putts go in I don't care what it sounds like. The face isn't as soft as the Odyssey 2-ball that I've been using, but again, all I care about are putts going in. I like the alignment marking on the top as well. I'll update this review if I encounter any problems, but at this point I'm pleased with this purchase!

This putter is very good. I like the oversized grip. Nice weight.

I'm a high handicap, recreational golfer so I don't invest a lot of money in the newest equipment.I bought this as a "proof of concept" putter. Went to the sporting goods store and looked at the $400 or so putter by the big name brand and thought there must be a cheaper way to figure out if a mallet style putter is for me. The putter is head heavy so the transition from my current high MOI putter to this one will be easier. Too bad they didn't include a putter cover but I bought a really mice one here for $15
