Worth your money and time!
Excellent gaming computer that has it's own program built in to manage your laptop which includes a cooler booster, monitor for computer situation at all times, and also let's you clean the disk and free memory with an easy click of the mouse key honestly if you just upgrade the ram/Intel core/ssd's you got urself an amazing gaming computer as for regular use it's simply amazing and stunning starts in about 10 seconds literally. For the cons it does get hot but as I mentioned before u can cooler boost for about 5 minutes and your good to go the ram and ssd's can be upgraded so yeah.

No backlighting on certain models, but great laptop
This review is for the MSI GF63 Thin 95SCX-005 . If you are buying this model it is NOT BACKLIT. The description here says it is, but the MSI website says it's not. I just want to stick this out there in case anyone else bought and wanted the backlit keyboard.Thay out of the way, this laptop (sans backlit keyboard) is amazing. It has played every game I've thrown at it so far on at least high settings. Final Fantasy 14, Sims 4, Dragon Age Inquisition, a bunch of others. The great thing about this series of laptop from MSI is they didn't skimp on the graphics chip. The whole series of laptops has the same one in it, the variations come with different hard drives sizes, more ram etc(and the more expensive versions have backlighting).I plan to update this review with more games soon, but FF14 plays on max settings at about 60fps unless I'm in pvp with 150 other players. Even then I still get 40s. I'm very happy with this machine.

Worth the price! Great entry level gaming laptop.
For an entry level gaming laptop YES. Alot of games run at max or high settings. I run Fallout 4 on ultra and get 60FPS . Some games like ARK the settings have to adjust but I still get 50FPS and still manage to have the game looking great. Warzone plays around 70 fps but the textures had to be set to low. It still managed to look pretty good and I honestly don't see the differen between that and my ps4 pro.The issue I have is heat. Cool boost is a MUST. If you don't turn it on then it WILL run pretty hot. Other than that it's very much worth the price point. Just remember this one doesn't have backlit keyboard.

Its a BEAST
First let me say thank you to the vendor for sending this so well packaged. The screen is flawless, the speed on the games I'm playing is frankly amazing for this price. I attempted to price this as a build and with the included features it simply was a better deal to purchase this than to DIY.The most obvious competitor(s) to this product seems to be the Acer Nitro 5 vs Asus with the same specs - but honestly this feels like a more premium laptop. The bottom chassis is very light and at first I wondered if it would seem "flimsy" but as I get used to it, I find it quite comparable to the highest end slim laptops I have reviewed and used. (Modern slim has a bit of flex.)*I would advise some caution when adding an hdd, and or, more ram. Watch the YouTube video that details safe removal of the bottom panel, as it feels like the plastic could potentially crack under significant stress. Aside from that I honestly love the power and the price and couldn't be happier with the quality of this machine. *I did notice that several customers felt misled about the backlit keyboard - to be fair on the MSI site you'll find the rest of the specs if you search for the notebook by the cpu and gpu on the left hand side of the screen.Grab that extra 8Gb ram within a few weeks, I bought samsung's ddr4 2666 for laptop and it works great. Now my cpu uses the full potential of it's hyperthreading, and manages to run a bit cooler. (Not that it ran hot, but you'll see what I mean.)

Excellent Budget Gaming Laptop
I got this MSI a little over a month ago and i love it. Lightweight and fast. I play occasional but i wanted a reliable great computer for everyday use . I have use it to play Dauntless so far and it runs excellent. It does get hot but i guess probably because it's so thin and it only has one fan. I am getting a cooling pad to help with it. I love how the keyboard feels(but it doesnt have backlight which it's one of the reason why probably it's in an amazing price point). Great computer so far

Great entry level gaming Laptop
I have had this Laptop for a year now, still runs great, only negative thing I have to say about it is the storage, I ended up buying an 2 TB SSD NVME it was very easy to install. I have ran GTAV on it 120 fps and World of Warcraft at around 60 to 70, both on ultra settings. Definitely recommend getting if thinking about it and on a budget.

Great value, but battery life is an issue
Lightweight, great performing computer. It can handle just about any game and has enough computing power to multitask as much stuff as you need. However, with it's light weight comes a sacrifice: Battery life is terrible. Even with "normal", non-gaming use the battery drains quickly. If you are playing a game that really taxes the system, you just have to leave the system plugged-in. Would I buy it again? Probably not. For a little more $$, I'd buy something that performs as well as this system, but with better battery life.

Nice
Pretty solid laptop. If you are gaming you should probably plug it in, otherwise its pretty good. Not a fan of the glowing keyboards so this laptop fits my needs. I can run GTA V on high settings and play pretty fine. I also added another 8 gb of ram and a 2tb drive to the laptop. You can probably find a youtube video of someone testing out the laptop if you aren't sure.Update*Ive had it for about 3 years so far and here’s what I have to say. The laptop still works fine and i use it for college and playing games. There is the occasional blue screen and it is sometimes slow but it mostly works fine. It also sometimes gets pretty hot and the fans on the laptop sound like an airplane engine lol. Anyways it still works fine and I can play mostly any game with no issues.
