Heavy Duty Pegboard Round Hole Only Galvanized Steel Metal Peg Board Set - 32in x 32in Total Peg-Board Coverage

I searched high and low for a way to hang cookware in my kitchen, given that I can't use a traditional pot/pan hanger in my ceiling and the only available vertical surface happens to be a duct. Can't drill into that, obviously, so the solution needed to be almost free-standing. The duct surfaces are an awkward 13" and 26" wide -- not the 16" increments offered by any heavy-duty pegboard intended to be drilled into studs -- but since the boards are relatively cheap and I was going to paint them anyway, I cut 2"x32" strips off either side of each pegboard using a small, hand-held circular saw. I used those strips as perforated angles to mount the pegboard onto. It worked perfectly! I had no use for the included hardware which I discarded. Instead, I drilled many more holes into the sides/angles and used many nuts and bolts and rubber washers to attach each piece securely (and quietly) to the next. The sharp edges definitely sliced up my hands and fingertips but didn't draw much blood. I expected worse, honestly. A quick once-over with a metal file took care of the sharpest edges. I needed a few screws to stabilize it against the adjacent wall but the weight rests mainly on the baseboard and bar. A few coats of enameled paint elevated the whole thing. I'm so happy with it. Surprising quality for the cost. I ordered 5 sets. All sets were well packaged and undamaged. Much more durable and certainly more eye pleasing than the old "wood" MDF pegboard. The metal peg board was installed in a woodshop that had horizontal blocking behind the drywall so installation was easy (didn't use the included plastic wall anchors).

I'm still unpacking so forgive my mess. I was waiting on these to start organizing my craft area. Very durable. I recommend TWO people for this installation. I did this by myself and it took a very long time. Talk about getting frustrated quickly. Also, DO NOT USE THE HARDWARE SENT WITH THESE TO INSTALL THEM. Two DO come with ONE order. Delivery was pretty quick. Thumbs up.

This is my second set of pegboards like this. I’m using them in my studio to hold tools, brushes, etc. some stuff quite heavy. I like that I can hang drywall right up against them and they’re flush. Will simplify finishing out my studio!

I saw “cheap pegboard” and was a little concerned about quality but this is quite heavy duty. I also like that it has a reflective shiny galvanized finish unlike those old and dull galvanized trashcans you see around. I would definitely recommend using the quarter-inch pegboard peg hooks because anything smaller would fit pretty loose in the holes but they work great with my quarter-inch accessories. All in all, great value, looks nice, and seems very strong. I would recommend to anyone looking for metal pegboard.

This brand of steel pegboard is not compatible with standard construction practices of wooden studs located every 24 inches along a wall. There is a wide empty band of steel around the perimeter Which eliminates the possibility of installing pegboard hooks along the areas where two panels touch each other. Other products are properly designed to accommodate 24 Inch wall spacing for securing the pegboards to a studded wall and pegboard hooks can easily be installed along the seam of two panels side-by-side. I do not recommend anyone purchasing these pegboards.
