A flawless protector with a flawed installation (long story)
This is actually my third Skinomi product. I bought a Skinomi screen protector for my Palm Pixi a few years ago and it has lasted until I recently sold the Pixi. After buying an iPhone, I decided to revisit the Skinomi Product line and purchased a Screen Protector Ultra Clear Shield from Amazon. What I appreciate about Skinomi are the little things. The kit comes with a microfiber cloth that can be used long after you've applied the protector; the documentation includes thorough instructions; and there's a very helpful YouTube video, found on Skinomi's website, with step-by-step tips. The packaging is fun, too. This may not sound like a big deal, but I've previously purchased phone accessories only to receive the item in a plain ziplock bag without documentation, instructions, or anything else to help you along. Thus, Skinomi earns points in my book, even before installation. However, applying a screen protector, any brand for that matter, can be tricky. I learned that the hard way when trying to fit the newly purchased Skinomi Screen Protector to my iPhone. Using the microfiber cloth, I meticulously cleaned my iPhone's screen. I had taken great care to also dust the table top I was working at, as Skinomi's instruction's had indicated. Last thing you want is for your spotless, new screen protector to accidentally drop onto a microscopic piece of lint. After spraying both sides of the protector, with the included application solution, I sprayed my fingertips, as the instructions recommended, in order to avoid leaving finger prints on the underside of the screen protector. Well, this is when I ran into a big problem. That slick little protector slid right out of my wet fingers, slipped off the edge of my table top and landed face down onto the floor, which of course wasn't spotless like my phone's screen or table top. And, so ended my installation. There seems to be nothing one can do to remove dust and lint particles from the underside of these protectors. I googled every trick I could find. Scotch tape, lint rolls, warm water, even reapplying Skinomi's application solution. You name it, I tried it. I finally used my finger nails in vain to lift off any pieces, but in the end, I only scratched the protector.Since Skinomi takes great care to warn you of these things, and the incident was an accident by my own hand, I wasn't about to challenge Skinomi's warranty. I chalked it up to a learning experience and let it go. A few days later, out of the blue, I received an email from a Skinomi company rep, following up on my purchase from Amazon. Now, I had never emailed Skinomi or Amazon about my problem. Skinomi was just practicing good marketing, asking if my purchase had been satisfactory, and offered me a free sample if I would be interested in writing a review on Amazon- didn't matter if the review was positive or negative. I agreed, because I thought it would be an excellent opportunity to share both my issues with the product installation, as well as the extra mile the company had gone to follow-up with me after purchase. Two days later, I received my free iPhone screen protector sample (now third product with Skinomi), which arrived in the same kind of box and packaging as my previous, ill-fated, iPhone protector. This time, I went really slowly, and I used a tweezers to hold the screen protector at the corner instead of my wetted fingertips. This method worked much better for me, and in minutes I had the protector aligned and was ready to squeegee off the excess solution. I waited the full 12 hours before turning my phone back on, letting it sit overnight; and by morning, I had already noticed that most of the bubbles and blemishes had disappeared. Within another 24 hours, the screen was flawless. So, for those at the 12-hour mark, who feel betrayed by lingering bubbles or blemishes, just wait another day.So far, my phone screen is as clear as if there wasn't a protector on it, which is important for me since I carry my keys in the same pocket as my phone. And all my touch inputs respond instantly. I am very satisfied with the product, of course, after a formerly failed attempt to apply it. Maybe Skinomi would consider including a plastic tweezers in their packaging? But, hey accidents happen, even if you're conscientious. As a final note, to test Skinomi's marketing department, I waited a full month without posting any review, just to see if I'd be hassled by any emails from them demanding why I hadn't. No emails, no hassles. So, here is my review. Hope it benefits those curious about the product or the people behind it. Thanks.

Great product!
So this is the second time I'm reviewing because I can't find where the first one went (just in case you find it).I like this screen protector. I've had it for a month, so I didn't just apply and review.I read and watched the instructions. I also read some of the reviews, which were very helpful as well. The box came with:- a thin bottle of application solution (which can be refilled with water and the residue in the bottle will be enough for several applications)- screen protector- instructions- lint cloth- rubber angled-squeegee- promotion for a free skinomi skintech if you review honestly (which I was going to do anyways)When I got my phone, I left the temporary screen protector on, to keep the phone screen the cleanest it could be. I cleaned the work area and my hands. I removed the temporary screen protector and I did NOT clean the phone (looking back I should have). I coated my hands and both sides of the screen protector with the solution. I applied it. Some times it was easy to slide and adjust, some times it wasn't. I squeegeed. It looked great...then I noticed the lint or piece of dirt. argh. I should have stopped there.I reapplied two or three more times. I must have forgotten to coat my hands in enough solution, since I got a fingerprint in the corner. I kept reapplying thinking it was some sort of dirt on the phone. Nope. I also squeegeeing too hard at some point, since I started to pull on the corner of the skin and warped it a little. I stopped as soon as I saw that. It still had a one or two little bubbles and streaks from the solution. On an aside, after my crazed reapplications, I did read that you can remove, wash, and reapply the screen if you get dirt on it during the application process (within 3 - 5 mins of application). I wish I knew that beforehand. The cut outs align nicely. I allowed the screen protector to dry over night. The next morning, the screen protector was looking good (besides my fingerprint in the corner and the pulling in the same corner which are barely noticeable). It is clear, no bubbles, cleans easily, protects my phone (I do stuff it in my purse and pocket), and touch sensitivity still great. One thing I am not sure if I like or dislike: I got a case, a Speck Grip. It is very snug and tight to the phone and a very slim profile. The screen protector doesn't go all the way up to the edge of the case, there is about a hair's thickness separation (so not really noticeable unless you are staring at it). Since the case is so snug and the screen protector is a bit of the thicker kind, I'm not sure I want the screen protector to go any further, as it may curl or be pushed back by the case. Please note that these results WILL differ depending on the case you buy.I did get the second skin for this review, so keep that in mind. I do have that feeling of a two for one deal, more value for the money.I recommend this screen protector. When applying, the following tips can be helpful:- watch the video- thoroughly coat your hands and screen protector on both sides every time you apply- you can wash dirt off the screen protector if you get any on it during the application process- lightly squeegee, don't pull or push too hard as any screen protector will warp and pull- the remain bubbles and streaks will disappear- wash and clean the area that you will work inIf you bought this product, I hope you bought it for the end results and you are willing to put in a little bit of work for them.

Very disappointed
I use to have Skinomi TechSkin on my differents phones (Galaxy SIII, Nokia N9) and on my tablets (Samsung Note and iPad Retina). But for my last iPhone 5S, it was a nightmare : no adjustement, a lot of bubbles staying even after 4 days, some little part well, but the most of the phone very bad. I decide to try a second Skinomi TechSkin, same result. So, bat experience, loss of money and time.
