This is a purchase worth every penny . I advise you to get it try it you'll like it
This is beautiful and very useful and does what it says . Microwave refrigerator even freeze . There's an Airhole on the top that's very useful and this cleans well . Looks good in the cabinet and the refrigerator . I cook with it all the time not just heating in the microwave but actually cooking fresh frozen vegetables . I even cooked some thin cut pork chops in it it came out nice . It Cooks fast so you need to use less time when cooking with it . As an experienced microwave cooker this really did work because it's not as heavy as Pyrex glass it's easier for me to handle . I like Pyrex but it's often heavy . This product does the same job but without the weight on your arms especially when you get to be a senior . I'm going to rebuy this product for storage in the refrigerator so I have enough to cook with also!

GREAT FOR EVERYDAY USE -ESPECIALLY IN THE MICROWAVE
love being able to heat up food in microwave and not have it turn to rocks or lose all its moisture. Even scrambled eggs and even hot dogs heat up great IN these dishes. remember to open cover vent. and so light-weight. I love my original corning-ware from 40 years ago but it's so heavy and has no vented cover. These are Great for all kinds of uses. One person who responded to a question I asked said she never used them in the microwave. That's what they were invented for....so I wonder what she uses them for..But they make great dishes just to eat out of AND because they are so light, THEY.would be perfect for toddler, aged person, or anyone not wanting a heavy plate. IF YOU GET INTO THE SINK WITH SOME DETERGENT AND WATER AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE AFTER USING TOMATO BASED PRODUCT, IT SHOULD COME CLEAN RIGHT AWAY.IF IT DOESN'T..SO WHAT. UNLESS YOU ARE SERVING IT TO ROYALTY (AND THEY WOULD CERTAINLY EXPECT BETTER THAN CORELLE ANYWAY. ) by the way, no place on my set says Corellle, only Reston Lloyd.the set really is nothing like Corelle and is actually pretty shabby quality- it has scratched up with very little use. I do not care as nobody but me will see it...but for the price I still am glad I bought it and I use it at least once a day.

Very Pretty and COULD BE Ideal! But So Disappointing in So Many Ways!!
I really had high hopes for these containers as lightweight but sturdy microwave cook ware capable of going from the microwave, to looking nice on the table, and then into the fridge for storage of left overs, and they do work well in this regard. But they have issues. They are too shallow for heating anything with much of liquid in it, and boil over too easily even on lower power settings. They need to be 1.5 to 2 inches taller to provide head room so liquids can rise and fall as they cook down without boiling over. Tapering the pans slightly would help this problem too. The other REALLY HUGE disappointment which I only discovered because I bought 2 sets, is that the same sizes CAN'T be nested into each other!! There is no taper at all in any of the 3 sizes. Likewise the lids are designed so they can't be nested and stacked by size either. Nor can the lids be used right side up or upside down on their matching containers which also reduces stacking options in the fridge and which would help prevent the stacked containers from sliding off of each other at the slightest nudge. (Their outsides are very slick.)Don't any of these manufacturers ever think to consult experienced home cooks working in typical home kitchens about their real world needs or think to look at other designs that did manage to do all of these things??Kitchen storage space is at a premium in most kitchens, now more than ever! It's terribly important to be able to stack containers neatly and compactly inside of each other to conserve valuable space. Another issue is storage in the refrigerator. Square containers like these, take up more width across the face of each shelf, so fewer containers that are likely to be needed over the next day or so can be lined up at the front of each shelf. Streamline the square container shapes to rectangles. They will cook just as well, look just as fine on the table, and will help reduce the maddening need to shuffle containers around inside of the fridge to reach something in back. In truth, I've only found 1 set of lightweight microwave cookware that did all of these things successfully and that was the fantastic lightweight Anchor Hocking Microware cookware/storage-ware they made in the '80's, especially their 1.5 qt. and 2.5 qt. containers with the snap on lids. I still have 3 sets of each size left, out of the 6 sets of each that I purchased back then, and I still use them daily because they are so versatile. They aren't pretty enough any more to set on the table when you have company, but they are fine otherwise. Of course, I would have replaced the first set every several years for "shiny ones" over the past 35 years, if they'd still been available. And, based on what gently used ones sell for now on ebay, other experienced home cooks clearly still feel the same way. (Anchor Hocking definitely shot themselves in the foot profit wise when they took this line of cookware out of production.in the mid 80's.) So Reston Lloyd go back to the drawing board! Your product IS really nice, but it has the potential to be SO MUCH BETTER.

Adorable Happy Days 3 piece storage
I love these- as I have the Happy Days dinner ware. The information/description on the set states the sizes -so I was not surprised when they came (as I read others say they are too small or not the size they expected!)I love the lids because they are snug and tight, and they can be used in the freezer as well. While I am not a microwave user very often, these are ok to use in he microwave. I liked them so much, I purchased two sets. They also have a nice vent (you can see the red piece on the lid).I was looking for coordinates to my dinner set and these are great. The print and color is pretty and I am very happy with them!! Especially that they are BPA free!!I may purchase another set because my little girl really likes them to use in her lunch box at school.

Great microwave dishes
I am really happy with these. Plastic microwave dishes are hard to find. Glass ones are too heavy and of course breakable. These have a lid with vent hole, handles so you don't burn yourself when draining veggies etc. 3 decent sizes and food can be served on the table as they look nice. I expect these will hold up fine as other old plastic ones have done well. Only drawback was the pattern I wanted wasn't available. Not sure why some people are complaining and sending them back. I guess they expect them to made of Corelle.

Not like the old ones
This is a pretty nice set - a bit small - but it is nothing like the quality of the ones we bought twenty years ago and are still using. I'd be surprised if this set lasts five years because the plastic is much thinner than the ones in the "old days." I actually have parts of a set that is still usable - from LittonWare - that I bought when I bought our first microwave oven over 40 years ago (which cost about $3,600 in today's dollars!).
