This is a great book full of information with some of Jack's recipes. I wish it would have included if he won 1st place or BOS for each recipe where applicable.

Jack Keller leads you through the process of combining chemistry and tasting to teach you to be a wine maker, not just a recipe follower. There are recipes in the book that will lead to fine wines. But more importantly in my opinion, this book will lead you to making your own recipes. I have a small library of wine making books and this one is now my front and center "go to" book. I have used advice on Jack Keller's web page for years and was so thrilled to see his book coming out. The book is thorough, perfectly organized, with clear and engaging writing. If you are a home wine maker or thinking about trying, and you consider the purpose to be to make your own individualized and creative wines, this book will be of tremendous value.

A great guide to get started on making wine at home. Recipes look pretty easy to follow.There are quite a few varieties to make. Now we’ll just be looking for fruits in high season.

I have made some of Jack's wine from his blog. They are very good! This book is more than just his recipes. It's his contribution to the wine makers everywhere. I am so grateful that he has taken the time to share his wisdom before his passing. And the patience of his family and friends through the years. For it is with their love and support we are able to benefit from his work for generations to come. To Jack and his family, thank you for the sacrifice of the most precious time you had with him before his passing.

Followed Jack's blog and made numerous recipes he posted. Wine making was a passion in his life, and the book adds his personal touch to his recipes. Get the book, you will not be disappointed. RIP Jack, and THANK YOU for taking wine making to a whole new level. You, sir, are sorely missed in our wine making community!

Great book for beginners! And written with such a personable touch as if he was in your kitchen with you!! I love Jack’s stories which usually tell you how he discovered some technique or other that might help you to avoid some mistakes or perfect that next batch of wine. Very detailed but sometimes you need details. Overall, delightful to read!
