Good watch

Wow - what a story! Highs and lows. Anger, frustration, caring, deep compasion, zest for humankind. If only the police could do their job better and more honerably innocent people would cease to be convicted to prison/death row.

This is a quite amazing film - it’s not an easy film to watch but so informative about someone I knew nothing about. I’m very glad I’ve seen it. It’s the story of an amazing individual.

I saw JUST MERCY when it was at the cinema and bought the DVD as soon as it was released. Sometimes a film really moves me and makes me question humanity. This film had me welling up with tears 4 times. The final time were with joy. JUST MERCY dramatises a real-life injustice that is ALL TOO COMMON in some states in America. The film is emotionally painful but justice wins in the eventual exoneration of Walter McMillan. But to think he lost six years of his life on death-row for a crime that he did not commit is crazy and scary. Those years can never be restored and nothing can ever make up for it. Sadly the people who were implicit in the fabrication and wrongful conviction of Walter seem to have prospered in the aftermath. For every nine inmates executed on death row in America one innocent person has been set free. This is a scary statistic. How many other innocent people have been executed? Alabama currently has 175 inmates on death row. The death penalty is still legal in 30 of the 50 states in the US. America your civil rights record is atrocious and sickening. The banning of the death penalty is long OVERDUE. Jamie Fox plays the role of Walter McMillan exceptionally well and Michael B Jordan gives a sterling performance as Harvard lawyer Brian Stevenson. Both performances worthy of an award. If you have any ounce of humanity in your bones this movie will certainly move you in question humanity.

Excellent film. Its a very poignant theme at the moment with Black Lives Matter. But an important story at any time. true story and truly inspirational. Brilliantly acted, very interesting and I loved it.

Excellent movie which was unfairly overlooked due to its release date in connection with covid. Do also read the book, and don't miss any chance to hear the author speak - he is truly inspirational.

OMG this is such an amazing real life video it has to be one of the best I’ve ever seen parr’s were really upsetting it’s a shame there’s only five stars

What a fab movie...loved the storyline, well worth purchasing. We always look at a films rating on Rotten Tomatoes before buying & it received a good score on there.

Michael B Jordan, fabulous actor and director, gives a real human depth to all is movies, similar to Denzel Washington.

Entgegen der Annahme durch die Artikelsuche erhielt ich die englische, statt der deutschen Version. Der Film wurde deshalb zurückgegeben und nicht angeschaut.

This DVD states it is not viewable. It was purchased for a school and can not be used!

Hab nicht genau geschaut, gibt's aber nicht in deutscher Übersetzung Ansonsten ein super Film
