It gets rid of the excess oil without leaving my skin feeling tight or dry, which I find impressive and is what I look for in a good face wash. Instead, my skin feels soft and refreshed afterward - almost like it's "ready" for the rest of my routine.I find the gel lathers nicely, and I can spread it well across my face if I use about a walnut-sized amount. It does foam a bit, but not in an over-the-top way like some face washes, which I like. It has a gentle tingling sensation, which I’m guessing comes from the geranium but it’s subtle and pleasant, and does irritate my skin. I didn’t specifically check to see if it helped with pore size, so I can’t really comment on that.Even though I use about a walnut-sized amount daily, a single 30mL bottle lasts me about 2-3 months. And look, I've said it before and I'll say it again: Brickell is a bit more pricey than most other brands, but I find it’s worth spending a bit extra for quality products that do a solid job.Fortunately, I don't think I have sensitive skin, so I use the scented version, which has a nice, light fragrance that’s not overpowering. After using the face wash, I always follow up with Brickell’s resurfacing cream for some extra hydration, and don’t forget the Element Defense SPF45 Moisturizer for sun protection—it’s a must! All in all, I find Brickell Clarifying Gel Face Wash to be a gentle yet effective face wash and it’s become a regular in my routine.

Face wash goes on smoothly and has a nice fragrance. It takes a very small amount, pea sized, to cover your entire face. I use it on a daily basis, it doesn’t dry my face and leaves my face feeling very clean.

It's clear but lathers well. Leaves skin very smooth and soft. Cleans without stripping. Zero irritation! Very effective cleanser and a little goes a long way. Not much scent to it so perfect if you are sensitive to fragrance. He can't go without it now!! I'll definitely repurchase!
