Amazing product. If you don't have time for a full shine with actual polish and conditioner, then this is the perfect way to finish your shoes quickly. All it takes is a few swipes and your shoe will stay shiny for a few hours/days depending on your use! It is a quick alternative; however, make sure to polish your shoes once in a while with actual Kiwi polish to protect the integrity of your shoe and keep them in a conditioned manner.

I've used these products for several years. I ordered these two for my husband so that he can give his shoes a quick shine in a hurry.

The Kiwi express shine sponges are great for a quick touch up of shoes, but aren't for the base polish. I bought a new set of low quarters for my "pinks and greens" uniform, and put a good base polish on with the normal paste wax. But I keep the express shine in my kit for quick touch ups, especially before an inspection, parade, or ceremony.

Expensive for what it is, but its super easy to use and works great

Disappointing. Kiwi is a well-respected name, and so I purchased both a brown Kiwi sponge (this review) and a black one since another brand I had bought a year and a half ago was starting to end its effectiveness. Unfortunately, neither of the two Shine Sponges has done as well as the declining one. The Kiwi is a little smaller in surface area, but it just doesn't seem as soft or as moist as the other (older) brand. It does polish to a degree but not the degree I would have liked. And this even though the "Use By" date is in 2021! I'll look for another brand next time
