what is the depth of the top of the bin, not including the runner?

My current Hailo bin has these measurements exactly but the cupboard is only 260mm wide. Why does it have to 300mm?

what is the difference between the automatic and the manual?

Hi This listing relates to the manual version so when you open the door, you have to pull out the bin and can be fitted into a standard 300mm wide base unit On the auto version, when you open the door the bin slides out but cannot be fitted into a 300mm wide base unit, it requires a minimum of 400mm The manual version can be upgraded to auto purchasing the bracket but sadly this is not currently available within the UK I hope this helps NaplesUK

how do you take this apart to clean the runners please?

You don’t need to, just lift the bin out to wipe, we’ve never had a problem with ours getting dirty and we have had 3 bins over the last few years in various properties
