Strong and Reliable Adhesive Dots
Scotch Restickable Dots were exactly what I needed to keep my busy light securely attached to the top of my monitor. The light originally came with its own adhesive dot, but it kept popping off over time. Since switching to the Scotch Restickable Dots, the light has stayed firmly in place, proving that these dots do exactly what they’re meant to do. However, I would caution against using them on surfaces or items where you don't want any potential damage or residue. They are extremely sticky and could possibly peel paint or leave marks on delicate surfaces. Despite this, for situations where a strong, reliable hold is essential, these adhesive dots are a great solution.

Great product.
I used these squares to stabilize a small piece of a lightweight sculpture inside a plexiglass box. It works very well and is invisible after use.

The perfect size and stickiness for flic buttons
I have a flic button that I install and remove weekly on the organ that I play for worship services. When that adhesive stopped working, I needed another solution. That's when I found these Scotch Restickable Dots, 7/8-in, 18 Count, Clear Double-Sided Mounting Pre-Cut Dots, Remove Cleanly, Mount Objects on Stainless Steel, Plastic & More, Photo-Safe Adhesive, Mess-Free Application (R105). They are the PERFECT size and stickiness for my flic button. Each dot holds securely, removes cleanly, and is very durable, lasting for several months of weekly use. There's the perfect amount of stretch to allow for some flexibility, but not too much. The thin dots don't draw attention to themselves, and don't provide excess bulk. In fact, they're a little thinner than the adhesive that came with my flic button. I also used one of these dots to add a heavy-duty brass knob to the top of a plastic dome for a cheese tray for my parent's 50th anniversary party. It held securely and removed cleanly at the end of the evening. The clear appearance keeps them from drawing attention to themselves. I'm very pleased with this product and will continue to purchase it regularly for my flic buttons.

Brilliant
These are a brilliant product. They are super easy to use and do exactly what they’re told. They stick well and are easy to remove. I’ve used them on metal, concrete, glass, and painted walls. My only complaint is they don’t hold onto items as well as I’d like. For example, I bought these to hold balloons upside down on a ceiling, balloons hardly weigh anything yet I couldn’t get the balloons to stay up! (They’d stay up for maybe 30 minutes) I’m not sure if that’s because balloon string doesn’t stick well to these or gravity is truly to blame but that was a bit disappointing. These also don’t stick as well when they’re really cold. I used these to hold up my Halloween decorations onto my front window but when the weather dropped they didn’t stick nearly as well. Overall, brilliant product, I’m thrilled to have them and use them all the time but they’re not entirely perfect.

Don't waste your money
Dots are supposed to be restickable and that's probably true if they didn't fold up the minute you tried to restick them. they are not durable and I seriously doubt anyone could re-use them once they've been peeled off the first time. Not worth the money. I bought two and am returning the unopened one.

Great for Hanging Things, and for Mini Painting!
I use these primarily for hanging up small prints and for mounting models for painting. Prints: They don't handle texture too well since the can't mold to the surface, but for smooth materials they're awesome. I've had a poster up on a 45 degree ceiling for over a year and it's still going strong. Mini Painting: These are awesome for painting miniatures, especially ones you haven't yet got on a base or for components that won't get one. You don't have to worry about sizing, none of the model gets hard to reach because of the holder getting in the way, and the adhesion is strong enough to hold everything firmly for painting but not so strong that you risk breaking anything when removing it. Reusability: I have been using the same dot for my painting handle for a couple years. It loses adhesion over time as I get paint and dust on it, but with a little bit of rubbing alcohol, or soap and water for stubborn bits, it goes right back to sticking just as good as when it was brand new. Mini Painting Handle Setup: A banister topper from the hardware store attached to a piece of scrap 2x2. I used the bannister topper instead of just putting the dot on the 2x2 directly because it's more comfortable to hold.

Better than suction cups and quake putty!!!
I love these! They work best on flat surfaces and have the strength of a small suction cup or magnet. Their adhesion is great, but they remove without leaving any residue. Best of all, they can be rinsed off and used over and over again! I've used them on whiteboards, mirrors, windows, walls, doors, metal, plastic, ect. Obviously they can't hold a ton of weight, but are perfect for displaying kids art on the fridge, notes on the door, small signs on windows, ect. I've used them to secure glass knick-knacks on shelves and I've even used them in my fridge to hold plastic charcoal packs on the wall. I've had a couple holding a plastic suncatcher on my skylight (which gets horrible condensation, moisture, direct sun, and cold) but it's still going strong 4 YEARS LATER! Hasn't fallen off a single time even though it's upside down so gravity definitely has the advantage (suction cups would only hold for a week). Seriously I love these things!!!
