Does Dabur Meswak Toothpaste has formaldehyde as one of the ingredients?

I bought this product sometime back on Amazon & checked for ingredients on the packaging, but didnt find any mention of Formaldehyde...but i did some digging on this question and found this very detailed review from a user on Amazon.com. The toothpastes that are from India do list formaldehyde as an ingredient, the import versions may or may not list it. But, are you really going to contemplate using this product when you have a myriad of natural toothpastes available from Jason's, Nature's Gate, Desert Essence, Periobrite and others from Amazon or places like Whole Foods?IF the presence of formaldehyde doesn't give you pause, certainly the presence of sodium lauryl sulfate and sodium saccharin (LAB made artificial sweetener ) ought to.UPDATE: The newest Meswak toothpastes purchased in India now also contain "triclosan", the active ingredient in Colgate Total toothpaste and alcohol free hand sanitizers. Saw it on a toothpaste tube a relative bought from India. I do not know if they've added triclosan to the export versions.updated ingredients list on a tube for the Indian domestic market: Calcium Carbonate, Sorbitol, Water, Silica, Sodium Lauryl Sulphate, Flavour, Miswak Extract, Cellulose Gum, Carrageenan, Sodium Silicate, PVM/ MA Copolymer, Sodium Saccharin, sodium Benzoate, Cl 77891, Triclosan.My educated guess is that they conveniently leave out the presence of Formaldehyde for the tubes destined for the domestic market due to the differences in regulations between India and the US.

Not that good toothpaste.

Good toothpaste but not that good as it contains sls, artificial sweeteners and it gives me sore throat. But overall good because it's affordable and tastes nice but i won't buy it again as it's not for me.

Mashallah, kya packing hai, boto bhala ho Amazon delivery associates ka ki maal salamat pahunch gaya, bina kisi chori ke. Anyways, I purchased 400g(200g×2) Meswak toothpaste, Total Amount Paid = ₹244.00 (Product Price + Delivery(etc.) Charges), MRP on Pack = 279/- Individual price written on Toothpaste is 147/- Meswak is mild Toothpaste (from personal experience, it doesn't hurt gum nor cause burning sharp sensation), Flavor is like of herbs... not bad. Mint freshness. And most importantly it contain extract of Miswak.

The flavor is very natural. I had been using Tom’s of Maine Antiplaque & Whitening, non-flouride, for years, but it tastes chemically in comparison to this natural product. Google ‘miswak’ (active ingredient in Meswak) and AI tells that this product is good for: Anti-plaque: Miswak can reduce plaque and tartar buildup Anti-cavity: Miswak can prevent tooth decay and cavities Anti-gingivitis: Miswak can help with gum inflammation Antibacterial Whitening

Franchement, ce dentifrice est super efficace. Après une semaine d'utilisation, je vois clairement la différence. Mes dents sont bien plus blanches. Et surtout, c'est sans fluor. C'est vraiment ce que je cherchais.
