Love to little box! I bought it for my bug out pack. It fits my needs perfectly. It doesn’t weigh too much at all. It’s seems very durable and tough. I closed and latches firmly I’m not afraid it’s going to open. And the price is fair for what it is. Would totally recommend to anyone looking for a mini car toolkit or edc kit. Will be buying more.

I've been replacing all of my plastic toolboxes with Toyo and TRUSCO (same company) metal toolboxes for a while now because they're super high quality, sturdy, well built and beautiful. For anyone that always wanted an antique metal toolbox, they are the way to go. When my moms tire blew and I realized she didnt have a patch kit of any kind, I picked up this little box for the roadside essentials. It's big enough for a tire plug kit and then some, and fits perfectly in her trunk. So big, in fact, that I bought a thinner one and repurposed this one for a roadside first aid kit instead. Not surprisingly, it's also incredibly made. I can see this getting passed down to my grandkids one day.

Made like a tank and very well engineered even for a simple item as this.

These are such great storage boxes - great size, beautifully finished, secure closure, and super durable. I personally love the aesthetic, and like having them on my desk. Small and light enough I can carry in my bag/backpack. And I never have to worry about plastic cracking or closures failing like other plastic storage containers.

This goes for all of these boxes from Trusco. They are just so undeniably cool in their three generations removed attitude and swagger. If you are of a certain age you looked at boxes like these, (rarely touch) on the shelves in your grandfather's garage, knowing he got them from his father. My wife started me with the big cantilevered box several years ago, and it has held up beautifully in my covered bed. So I added all of the smaller boxes and they are all spot on perfect. Just plain solid work that you can feel will last for years. You know the guy that worked on Steve McQueen's bikes had a box just like this one.

this container is amazing – it has a great soft-metal material finish and the hinge is so smooth. from a quality standpoint, i cannot recommend trusco products enough. i currently use this to house sewing supplies and would say its the perfect volume ratio for hobbyists who want to stay organized. a phone could fit in this. i am definitely considering purchasing another as it's also stackable. 10/10!!!!

First off, the shipping was not as promised. Editing b/c I scored the box too low because of slow shipping not fair to the box. It is a quality box. Mock up the dimensions so you realize what you are getting prior to purchase. See if that meets what you intend to purchase the box for. Good quality, good color.

This is a beautiful looking and constructed metal box. The paint is a metallic blue that looks great on your desk. The box is heavy and sturdy with a lid and latch that is very easy to open. It makes a great miscellaneous storage box and organizer for your desk.

The box itself is pretty perfect, it's the price that really effects my views on it. If you know anything about sheet metal manufacturing processes, you know that this type of thing probably cost around a pound to produce, and then you have shipping, which doesn't cost £20 per unit, particularly in bulk; so it's nice that someone is making great margins, but i5 does put me off buying a lot more; which I definitely would do as I really really like them. Overall, great if you only want one, but gets very expensive past that to the point where you might as well import them yourself.
