No brainer, buy it for 350 cfm carb.
Works great a year later. Using on a 350 CFM ROCHESTER 2 BBL I just wired it up to ignition hot using a relay and in line fuse. Works perfectly. Did NOT need a fuel pressure regulator. Roller cam motor that did not have the cam-lobe to run mechanical pump. I have had zero issues with it in a year, daily driver. I mounted it in front below front bumper where it gets plenty of air. Fuel flows from a fuel cell that is higher than stock fuel tank, so it gets plenty gravity feed. You should place pumps to push fuel not pull. But this one works fine pulling the fuel, then pushes fuel upwards to carb. Cheap, easy, works, no brainer.

Works ok
It worked ok just not enough pressure for my carburetor so I am going to use it as a transfer pump for fuel well after the company contacted me about this pump not working properly I explained what the pump was actually doing and that I decided to keep the pump to use as a transfer pump because the pressure was so low they offered me a refund for half of the price of the pump which I thought was pretty amazing great people to do business with we need more people like this today in business and I will do business with them again

failed in 10 minutes
Very disappointed. Worked great on trial setup. Then, rerouted hoses & wiring for a permanent installation - put everything back together and it died to pump no more. It has TEN MINUTES of total run time and is dead. I bought it three months ago & it had sat on my desk until I had time for the project, so return window is closed. Glad I wasn't miles into the woods when it failed.

Great piece for the money!!!
I installed this on a 1981 Ford F-150 with a 351 modified engine. The old mechanical fuel pump just wasn't cutting it anymore so I figured I would upgrade to an electric one. This pump will pump like crazy! I ran into a small snag with air pressure building up between the pump and the carburetor. Not exactly sure how I'm going to fix it yet but once some air pressure builds up between the pump and the carburetor it doesn't pump nearly as well. I actually installed my pump under the hood on the front quarter panel. this pump doesn't excellent job with the self siphoning feature to pull it all the way from the tank to the pump. I think this may be what's causing the air pressure though is it's moving air in the line. I would imagine if this was installed back near the gas tank along the frame I wouldn't run into the issue I'm faced with right now. Again it's a great guy and I'm probably going to buy one just to throw in the glove box in case it ever goes out. A $10 it can't be a super high-quality piece but it's going to do just fine in the old pickup. One other side note the metal strap that goes around the pump to hold it to the vehicle doesn't have any rubber piece to hold it still. You will need to put something between the pump and the metal strap to avoid excessive vibration and movement.

Word great on old ford 60hp gas tractor
Installed this today on my 1975 ford 4500 industrial gas tractor. The old mechanical pump worked but was leaking really bad and it's kind of a mess to get a new one in. Enter this pump. Because this is a carb, technically an updraft as well, I wanted to get something around 5gpm. While I don't have a gauge on it, it idled fine and I ran it for a few minutes at a fast idle with zero problem, no indication of flooding or going lean. You can hear the pump, but not when the engine is running. Granted tractors are loud. I would say they are not much louder than an in-tank pump. Time will tell on the reliability, but I liked how this came with a plastic mounting base which was more substantial than the stamped steel ones that some cheaper pumps used. Size wise, don't forget to add on the piece that screws into the pump. I'm not sure if it is a pre-filter or not (I just used a wix before this) but I mention the piece because it does add a decent length to the install. My pump install was not taxing for the pump because the bottom of the tank ran downward a few inches to the filter, then flat a few inches to the pump, and then the pump ran the pressurized line perhaps 2 feet to the carb. More than likely a lot less of a load than if you were to install this into a car. So far I'm very happy with it, seems like a great value.

Fixed my fuel pump Problem
What this was installed on is a 1984 Dodge ram pick up with a 360 V8. I originally purchased a Carter fuel pump from Amazon and it was complete junk. They advertised a curved arm which is what I need however what came was a straight arm I checked the part number and verified they sent the right part. However due to the fact that it was straight the camshaft was not able to push down the pump enough to pump fuel. It was the complete wrong design of fuel pump once again more Chinese garbage made by Carter. I purchased this fuel pump as a last resort option to get the truck running again wired it up blocked off the original pump re-ran the fuel lines and now it works flawlessly. If you have an old vehicle that has a carburetor this is a must to replace the factory pump. However you will have to run a Fuel pressure regulator due to the fact that this pump pump entirely way too much fuel he needs to be turned down to around five psi this is roughly 7 to 10 psi which is too much for a carburetor. But other than that this fuel pump works great

A good fuel pump so far!
This seems like an honest electric gas pump! Other brands do not allow or mention a distance which they can pull fuel from a tank. This one at least states not more than 7ft above, which is very good information, because I had to install mine in the engine bay for now! It primed and after the filter and floats filled up, my 351 roared back to life!

Having fuel delivery issues with some deisel equipment so put this on top of the fuel tank. Has been running fine for over 40 hrs so I would do it again if I had to. great price for product ratio!
