IRL - Stopped a severe 5" penetration wound
Purchased 2 of these for my truck in - Last purchased May 23, 2021 - And unfortunately in June of 2023, had to use it on myself. I'm not sure it saved my life... it was a team effort. But I know that when I gave my neighbor my chainsaw, and he agreed that he will trim my trees from here on out. This product is designed for very serious wounds. I can personally attest that it will deal with very serious wounds. If you do not know what a serious wound is... you will know, and find comfort when your loved ones apply this to you, and the feeling in your feet return momentarily after. Thankyou CELOX.

Celox gauze. I hope I don't need it
Celox is one of the better clotting / blood control gauzes. Expensive, but when needed, it is needed and d*mn the cost. John in Indy

A must have in any medical kit!!!
I'm on a blood thinner and an anti-coagulant due to a heart attack 2 years ago. I have small vericose veins on my right foot due to the blood clots in my right leg. T Once in a while one of these veins will break without notice (until I see all the blood) and can be extremely difficult to stop with just applied pressure, sometimes 10 to 15 minutes. Used a 3 inch strip of Celox cut from the roll from package, applied it to the vein along with mild pressure and had it completely under control within 1 minute. The clotting agent Celox will not cause clots within the vein because it is potato starch derived and is easily absorbed within the body. It also washes off easily with water in order to remove the gauze later. This last 2 sentences are not true with the 2 products 'Wound Seal' and 'Pro QR' as they are chemicaly different.

Fantastic life saving equipment in a compact package
For those of you wondering whether or not to buy based on the price. Buy it. In an actual situation where someone is spraying bright red arterial blood from their carotid or axillary artery. You don't want El cheapo Walmart gauze. You need hemostatic gauze to stop the hemorrhaging fast. This is that product. I'm an infantryman and I have 2 of these bad boys in my IFAK.
