I bought this to allow me to use my existing headphones with my new iPad Pro - as it has a USB C connector, neither my lightning or jack plug versions could be used. I had tried a pair of wireless headphones but the sound quality was appalling.This adapter works well - sound quality is excellent. Apart from the inline volume control on the headphones not working, which doesn’t bother me, it is a perfect solution to my problem.

This isn’t too bad at all. I’m using it with my Hidisz AP80 and Sony MH755 IEM. It works on all my DAPs with Hiby OS (AP80 Hiby R3 Tempotec V1-A and also works on Shanling Q1. It didn’t work on Fiio M5 though others do). The difference in volume is ridiculous. At least double. It’s clean and there is no hiss. I’ve got a few dongles and mostly they all seem pretty decent. Most have same Realtek AL4020 DAC chip inside while two seem to have the AL4050 and sound slightly different. Durability wise it seems ok. Doesn’t get too hot and is well built. It’s cheap and sounds better than the internal DAC chip on the AP80 and V1-A. Ideal for phones with USB-C and no 3.5mm headphone line out. Not in same league as Meizu Pro or Tempotec Sonata Pro HD but still a good bit of kit.

Used for my car since its too dated for Bluetooth connection. Clear sound and did the job. I've had for over a year and it's still just as clear

Bought for my new Samsung Galaxy Note 10+. (Which they have decided not to have a '3.5mm ' Headphone Jack) which is more than annoying! I have lots of music listen to and have two sets of good quality ear bud headphones. so used this as the next best thing. But quality is clear and precise, would recommend for the price. Not sure of how long they will last but they appear to be robust and good quality. Would recommend.

I bought this adaptor to use with wired headphones (whilst on an aircraft) attached to a new iPad Mini 6. This device only has a USB C port. The adaptor looks sturdily made and the sound is fine. Recommended.
