Although I ordered from Amazon, this item didn't offer Prime 2 Day Shipping, but it came within a few days with Standard Shipping. As other reviewers said, assembly was VERY straight forward and easy. I am sitting on it as I type this review and it is extremely comfortable. The cushion is made of stiffer foam and doesn't give in too much while it gives lots of support. The seat bottom is contoured and provides lots of cushion for your behind while the contoured back rest provides lots of lumbar support. Unlike fixed back chairs, this chair provides spring loaded back rest movement, so when you need to stretch after a sitting for while, the back rest will move back and retract to it's original position. The casters are super smooth and provides excellent mobility with no rolling resistance. The leg rest is absolutely necessary for a chair that lifts up high. It also features a screw in lock to prevent movement. The lift works well and the material used are of high quality and it justifies the price because I don't feel wobbly when sitting. It is solid. Now for the minor annoyances. This chair is not a good choice for narrow and small spaces. I initially thought it would be okay, but upon first use, it was a little too big for my behind the counter work space. However, I got around to a fix and it works to fit well now. When you are sitting at the highest point, it is a little difficult stand up and get off the chair and takes getting used to at first. PROS: + Great materials / construction + Adjustable height and retractable spring loaded back rest + Good contoured cushion / lumbar support + Foot rest + Smooth rolling casters + Durable and rock solid sitting experience CONS: - Not for narrow, small areas (like behind the counter at a retail store) whereas space is valuable - Standing up off the chair takes a little getting used to

Very comfortable chair. My theory about the complaints regarding a painful front of the seat is that people might be letting their legs dangle - the weight of their limbs presses the rigid part of the seat into their upper thigh. I think a seat like this requires use of the foot rest or some other support for the feet. However I just got he chair, so maybe I will discover the problem for myself The chair seems sturdy, it was easy to set up, the fabric looks like it will wear well. The company seems to be getting good reviews for service (fortunately I haven't needed any). Reasonable price, and I like the adjustable arms I bought separately. The chair is being used at a wood working bench that I use for paperwork and for woodworking. It's in the basement, and I expect to do office work from the chair when the summer gets too hot upstairs.

It took my husband a very small amount of time to put this chair together, including the armrests bought separately and reviewed separately. I absolutely love the width and height of the chair, as well as the air lift, but the foot rest is a problem. I'm handicapped and needed a chair wide enough to be comfortable and that I could adjust to fit under the special sewing table I purchased before I became handicapped. That table is made about counter top height so normal people can use it for pining fabric and cutting it without back stress. To be able to sit under the table at the right height, the chair seat needed to be about 22" high and adjustable to a higher height when needed. The chair also needed to swivel to aid me getting in and under the table with the minimum amount of trouble, and have casters for me to be able to roll it easily into position wherever I needed to be to use my table. This chair fits the bill and I would have given it a 5 star rating but for one thing, the chair seat is adjustable, but not the foot rest. It is great if you're using the highest setting, but I'm using the lowest most of the time, and the foot rest is way too high for the lowest setting and my husband and I couldn't find any possible way to adjust it to a lower position. Otherwise the chair is very comfortable for a heavy person or a light one. The air lift is great if I need it higher to reach the inner areas of the table. Fix the foot rest problem and it would be a perfect chair for anyone needing an adjustable Height chair that is at least 22" at the lowest setting. As it is, I'll have to buy a step-stool to put under my feet when using it for long periods of time at the lowest setting.

Easy to put together. Comfortable. Best for medium and smaller body types - XL and XXL men aren't likely to be as comfortable. Good quality construction. We also ordered the adjustable arms and I think they are necessary and very easy to put on during the assembly stage. I love that the ring is metal and not chromed plastic. You can tighten it down and raise it to the height you need. You can also adjust the tension of the back. The seat raises and lowers with ease. Fairly small seat - not really for largest body types. It's a fairly petite chair. Maybe more so with the arms installed. I'll update over time if my experience changes.

I picked up this chair to mate with a Global Industrial production bench with adjustable legs set to a 34" table height. Most "lab" or "drafting" chairs, while higher than traditional office chairs, seem to have a small adjustment range (4-5" or so) and this was one of the few I found at a reasonable price point with a full 10 inch adjustment range. The lowest setting of the chair is ideal for a 34" table height, which is good because if the cylinder ever fails, I'm still happy. The casters are all plastic but if they fail it shouldn't be difficult to locate better units. The remainder of the structural components are steel or aluminum and appear sturdy and well finished. I have another table coming and will likely buy another one of these chairs for it. [Edit: I did buy another one of these chairs a couple months later and it arrived in great condition. After six months or so of occasional use, no wear or other problems noted with either chair.]

Don't use it a lot but fits the bill in terms of having a chair that works with my standing desk setup. Fairly comfortable and looks good.
