Leather Journal Refillable Notebook with Plain Inserts Card Holder and Zipper Pouch

I like this leather journal a lot. It arrived on time and nicely packaged as described. It is soft to the touch but holds its shape very well. The color is a nice deep purple on the outside and more of a wine color on the inside. It gets marks and scuffs pretty easily, but that was expected and has only make me enjoy it more. These marks buff out easily. The notebooks that come with it are decent quality. They ghost a little when I color in a doodle but there is almost no ghosting of my handwriting. (I use 0.3mm to 0.45mm pens/ markers) I was pleasantly surprised that it came with a vinyl zipper pocket/ card holder slots. I must have missed that when i read the description.

Gorgeous, sturdy, travelers notebook. On par with any other quality cover and the inserts that came with it are high quality as well! If you are concerned about it getting markings and scuffs, i would not recommend this as it does mark up easily. Personally, i love the way it creases and scratches and reacts to the oils on your skin. It really gives it character and it has a rustic, vintage look. I’m Thinking about keeping a spare around the house as an emergency gift because for the price, these are impressive!

You get a lot for the price. The leather quality isnt the best feeling however I expected that for the cost. The inside cover is a bit rougher than my Midori covers. I still think its decent and will get the job done....plus it came with 3 decent notebooks and pvc insert. Thats a bonus!

Apart from my spare elastic breaking and one notebook being wrinkled, the notebook itself is beautiful! The leather has a nice feel to it and I recommend the purple color.

I ordered this yesterday, YESTERDAY. And I got it TODAY, less than a day. WAY faster than I expected which is amazing! The cover is smooth and its a nice dark purole. Acratches cam happen easily, but you can rub them out fairly well. The seller gives you a small little cloth book cover and the containment box had an extra band in it. I will try at some point to add an additional booklet to see how that fits, if at all. But so far it looks really nice. I havent tested the durability yet as I just got so ill update my rating as my usage of the product progresses. But value-wise im thinkig its worth it for the price so far cuz just looking at how to make it yourself is more expensive then just buying a ready made travelers journal.

The leather is as soft and supple as a Midori brand notebook (TN-Travelers Notebook) the color is a deep purple. It came fully loaded with three notebooks and a soft plastic insert for credit cards on one side and a zipper pouch on the other. Pay attention to the method of insertion of the notebooks if you are unfamiliar with TNs. It might not be intuitive tho’ once you’ve done this a few times you’ll get it! I’ve always wanted Midori to come out with this color, now I don’t care if they do! The only potential negative I can see is if you’re unfamiliar with this type of leather. This will wear its battle scars boldly, happy to age and show its “wrinkles,” do to speak. But if you are one who doesn't mind that, you’ll be delighted with this, as I am.

I love this -- it is extremely useful and I can't believe how expensive it looks and feels. But it also stores so much; I have 6 different inserts at the moment and it is all quite secure. Plus I can't get over how pretty it is. It's like the deep blue green of the ocean when you're sailing...it's just incredibly gorgeous. I keep touching it and while I know it will get marks, I think that will just make it even more beautiful.

I was so stoked to get my travelers journal in the mail today! I am starting something like a junk journal and I use Vagabroad Journals, but my hand painted cover has been taking a beating in my purse over the months and I really wanted to try the traveler's notebook method without the traveler's notebook price. I am glad I bought this one! The red is a really pretty burgundy/wine/bordeaux/oxblood type of color. Scratches do show up easily on here, they contrast the rest of the cover by being light red scratches. (I have watched a couple of youtube videos and know what I could probably remedy this by using leather conditioner) They sent what was as promised, the cover 3 blank signatures and a zipper pouch/card slot holder. It was packaged nicely, so if you wanted to give this as a gift it can come straight out the box as one. I also loved that they used an elastic band to close the packaging which gives you an extra band to play with while using the notebook! I purchased this specific one to house my journal that is 8.25x5.75 and it fits perfectly with no hangover, (expect for the stuff I have hanging out of it) It also has the elastic band to close the journal so that none of my extra crap falls out of it. All in all I patiently scoped out which one I wanted and I am glad I made the decision to purchase this journal. If I needed another one, I would definitely rebuy. Hopefully I can come back with an update after continue (sometimes rough) use.

I'm new to the travellers notebook style of journal so I thought I would give this one a go as it isn't as expensive as some other brands. It arrived very quickly (within days) and was wrapped beautifully. For any one worrying (which I was) , it is genuine leather and is well made. I have put 4 thin notebooks in mine and that is probably the limit. This style of organising works well for it my work role as I can divide up projects/meetings etc into different notebooks. Very happy with my purchase!

This is a beautiful traveler's notebook.The leather quality is very nice, very smooth and textured. The look is fantastic. The extra card holder insert can hold pens on the other side. Also, I was pleasantly surprised by the paper quality. I've tested with fountain pen and there was hardly any featuring or bleed-through. I hope they sell refills too.

This book is beautiful and holds all of my notebooks well. I was able to fit four in! The plastic pouch thing yay comes with it slides around a bit too much but I didn’t need it anyway so I just took it out. The cover is beautiful and soft and smells amazing and the notebooks provided are excellent for my purposes (an herbiary, so the blank pages are great!). I would definitely buy this again if I ever needed a replacement and would recommend it to a friend.

The colors were nicer than I expected. There was no color transfer when holding the notebook. I understand that if scratches are made on the cover, it can be rubbed off. My only concern was the scratches inside of the notebook. Im not familiar with leather so I don’t know if it’s normal but the marks on the inside looks like razor cuts. It does not go through the cover so I will be keeping it. I’m using these to write down my recipes and journal my thoughts and hopes to save for my daughters so the quality and upkeep really matters to me.
