What is the difference between C and O shape?

Both C-shape and O-Shape are the cervical traction device. They can help you to stretch and realign your cervical spine. When you lay on it, your head will be suspension. And then your cervical spine will be stretched by the natural gravity and your head weight.
The difference of them is that C-shape contains a little elasticity, it can adjust the height according to your head weight slightly. O-shape is a fixed height.

device, it made to support the back of the neck for those who through injury and/or degeneration don't have the natural strong curve of the neck structure. . TMJ clenching of the jaw can cause jaw, head and neck pain from prolonged rigidty. With the C shape you bend you neck all the way back in correct positioning, training the neck to recapture a strong curve. Use limiting times, while your neck is training to curve. Too much or too long use mmay lead to existing pain increasing.
The O gives someone neck and shoulder support to relax and/or correct muscles tightened causing pain in those areas.
Very tight neck and shoulder muscles can cause pain and headaches. This O shape gives the neck and shoulder muscles the support allowing an ease and relaxation of those muscles."

My physical therapist recommended the C shaped cervical traction device for me for neck pain caused by arthritis. I use it for ten minutes a day and it relaxes my neck and keeps it feeling good. I recommend it.
