I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

Every night I have to recharge my Android Smartphone and my Kindle Fire. I usually read a book on my Fire before I nod off. I have a smaller size power strip on the lower wall plug for my lamp, alarm clock, hair dryer, Kindle Fire and Smartphone. The problem is that the Kindle Fire One has a ridiculously short charging wire (many owners have complained about this and I hope Amazon has corrected this problem on the newly released Kindle Family) so I needed to use an indoor extension cord so that the Kindle Fire and Cellphone are within reach so that I can comfortably read and use cellphone while charging. Most indoor extension cords that I checked for in Walmart etc start at six feet and longer leaving a lot of wire hanging around and it looked plain messy. I looked the cords for Fire and phone and estimated that a 2 foot cord would be long enough. I guess I can't estimate because when I plugged in this cord it was still just a bit too short. I ended up ordering an additional one foot cord with a split to plug both my items in. This cord is great (hence 5 stars). I seems to have a nice thick wire and sturdy ends. I basically wrote about checking the length is because if anyone else estimates as badly as I did, you might want to use a tape measure to see exactly how long 2 feet is to make sure that the length will be just what you wanted. This is a really good cord and worth the money and if you have Amazon Prime, shipping is fast and free!!!

Let me start with a complaint. It's not about the cord, but about the fulfillment. I ordered two of the 12' versions of this cord. I had measured my requirement and added plenty of slack and chose the 12' for a reason. What I received was one 12' cord and what appears to be one 15' cord. Admittedly this is not a felony, but I was using these to run hidden cables from a multi-monitor stand on my desk. The 15' cord just required me to have a bunch of excess loops of cord to try to hide. Again, not a big deal but what I ordered would have been perfect. Anyway, the cords themselves are perfect. When plugged in, they appear to provide just the right amount of power to cause my monitors to turn on and run without problems. It's tough to review something as mundane and simple as a power cord. It pretty much works or it doesn't. This one does, so bravo. Five stars for you!!

GOOD PRODUCT AT A REASONABLE PRICE.

There are so many times the cord from that tool or electronic gizmo won't QUITE reach, but so many cords are six feet long minimum. You end up with a tangle of extra cord you have to stuff into a corner somewhere. This sturdy extension cord is just the right length. Also, so often those flat, 3-prong right-angle plugs are pointed in exactly the wrong direction. It is true that this plug sticks straight out of the wall so that you can't push a piece of furniture too close to the wall, but if that is not a factor, this cord is excellent.

Bought this so I didn't have to use an extension cord on my desktop. So far 2 months in running a Ryzen 5 5900x and a 3090 on a 1000W PSU I haven't had any issues with it. Runs everything perfectly fine. Seems like a very high quality thick cable.

I bought this as a replacement for a lost power cable for my daughter's Roland x8. As soon as we received it, we powered it up and tested the keyboard out. Everything is working as it should.
