Depends, really, on how big of a pot of water you’re boiling. Smaller pots take less time, therefore use less fuel. Typically I can use this for 2, sometimes 3 meals with a cup and a half of water each time. Hope this helps!

Q: will this burn parafin oil fuel

This would not burn paraffin oil fuel. Paraffin fuel is not meant for cooking and does not burn clean. Paraffin burnt openly like this would produce a lot of carbon monoxide and impurities. The best fuel to burn in this stove, hands down, is denatured alcohol because it burns as clean as any fuel possibly can and leaves no residue behind. Paraffin is meant to be burned via a wick because it's the liquid that burns. Alcohol stoves burn the vapor that is released when a liquid is above its boiling point. The liquid does not burn, only the vapor.
