Could you reasonably hold a 3DS XL, 3 games and a charger in this case ?

The charger will not fit in this case. It holds the 3DS XL perfectly and has slots for 3 games, but there is not enough extra room for the charger.

Will this fit the "new" 3ds xl?

DO NOT LISTEN TO THESE PEOPLE! It does not fit, I got one of these before and the case is not made for the NEW 3ds XL and it will damage your L&R triggers over time. Be warned.
