I was looking at different kinds of door sweeps and since I’ve never seen this kind before, I was skeptical. However it reminds me of the weighted snake-looking thing my grandparents used on their door but just upgraded since I wouldn’t have to bend down every time to put it in place. I’m glad I gave it a chance! The size was maybe two inches too long for my door, but the next size down would have been too short, so I just cut the appropriate length off of each of the foam tubes and folded the end over a bit more, and it works great! There’s a Velcro thing at the end to secure it to the door. It doesn’t move around much at all, and even though I have a toddler who enjoys playing g with the door and opening and closing it, I’ve o it had to adjust it once or twice in the months that I’ve had it. I did not add the Velcro attachments that go along the door on either side, but I think I have a thicker door so I don’t need them and they won’t have stayed on probably anyway. Overall I love it, I look at it sometimes right now in the winter months and think i am glad I bought that thing.” So yeah!

This is a pretty nifty draft stopper that closed the gap between the bottom of my front door and the floor. It was fairly easy to install with only some minor cutting needed to fit my door. It came with adhesion stickers to make sure the draft stopper doesn't come off. It has done a good job at insulating as well since I don't feel any cold air coming in. It is also blocking light from the outside which is great. The fact that this kit comes with TWO draft stoppers makes it an even better value!

Slam dunk. Did the trick with a draft from the basement. I have saved, and I will buy again without hesitation. Easy to adjust to fit your door size.

I mean, who are they kidding? This thing is about as adjustable as a brick. You can move it up or down a few inches, but that's about it. It's not like you can turn it into a beautiful sculpture or anything. Overall, I would give this product a solid one out of five stars. It does what it's supposed to do, but it's not exactly the most glamorous thing in the world. But hey, if you're looking for a way to keep the cold air out of your house and you don't care about how it looks, then this is the product for you. IMHO the design is severely over engineered. The two noodles have to be slipped into a sleeve and then the sleeve, fastened to the door with strips and tape. Not easily seen in the pic. If it’s cold outside, the tape and strips don’t stick. Since the noodles are encapsulated in a sleeve, they have lost all of their natural static electricity, which would normally allow them to stay in place. I had bought one from Aldi’s that had absolutely no problems sticking and staying on the door without any liner, tape or Velcro and they stay in place with static friction and a pressure strip, underneath/between the two noodles.

It's exactly what I needed: it keeps the draft out, it decreases the hallway noise, and, most importantly, it keeps my door from rattling every time my neighbors open & close their doors or the door to the trash chute. Plus, I've recommended it to my neighbors that inquired after seeing it! I love it!♡
