Wrong Size
This mute was for the Violin NOT the Cello. I have a violin so I don't mind but I really wanted it for my Cello.

Don’t buy :(
It’s a decent fit on 3/4, was my first one so I’m not sure if it’s good or not but I thought the sound and quality was horrid. The quality may have been part of it but it wasn’t functional.

DOES NOT WORK AT ALL
This is not for a cello, as others have said. Tried to put it on my 4/4 cello, doesn't mute the strings at all. Waste of money.

Good Mute, horrible to put on.
Muted sound very well but it takes me about 5 minutes to get the mute on my cello. the plastic is very hard and firm. mute also sometimes creates a wolf tone even though I have a wolf tone eliminator on my cello.

Wrong size
This says it's for a 3/4 or 4/4 cello, but the mute I received was WAY too small - violin / viola sized instead of cello.

Wrong item received.
I'm pretty sure I received the wrong item. I ordered a cello mute compatible with a 4/4 cello. Instead I received a violin mute. At first I thought it was maybe just the name. But after forcing it on my cello I see that whoever did the packaging made a mistake. My actual violin mute is bigger than this. I'm not sure what happened here.

NOT A CELLO MUTE
This item said it was the right sized mute for the cello I have. It is ABSOLUTELY NOT FOR A CELLO AT ALL. It says violin mute right on it. Extremely unhappy with this.
