Easy to use but did not come with a manual. Once plug into a device, you will learn that you have to install Sansisk app to use the thumb drive to get transfers from your phones or laptops.

This works both on macOS (Yosemite all the way up to Sonoma) and Windows (10, 11). I am able to easily transfer and work with (print, edit) files on this flash drive no matter which system I am using. I have also used this drive while plugged into my iPhone 15 and it works just fine. Using the Files app and browsing to the flash drive, I can see and open the files on it with no problem. The entire device itself is quite small and portable, so it fits in any pocket, pouch, or on any keychain without taking up a lot of space.While I have only been using it for a short while (three weeks), it has always been available and reliable, with no hiccups or complaints from either Windows or macOS about the drive not being visible/readable/ready.The only reason this is not a 5-star item is the physical design. I like that you can have either side/connector (USB-A or USB-C) out/open by spinning the flash drive, but that also means that whichever side is out is exposed. This device DOES NOT come with any kind of dust/protective cover for either connector. For that matter, the side that is not exposed isn't exceedingly well protected either, but it is better than nothing. I would like it if the device came with protective caps for the connectors or allowed you to control exposure of the connector ends.Shy of that one issue (lack of dust covers for connectors), this is a very good flash drive.

As you can see, it’s convenient because you can switch between Type-C and Type-A. The speed is no problem either.Since it’s small, be careful not to lose it.It doesn’t have a cap (when one side is closed, the other side is open), so it’s better to keep it in a case or pouch. I don’t recommend using it as a keychain!

So far, I've been loving this drives speed and capacity. However, performance has been lacking as i noticed it disconnects rather frequently when used with my tablet and phone. Will updte when/if i find a fix but so far, Not deserving of a 5 star review.Update: Comparing this to other drives. It's slow. Annoyingly so. Writing to it literally takes about 2 minutes before even a small piece of the loading bar comes up. Even reading files takes a while. 🤦🏽‍♂️Update 2: So I double checked the specs of my laptop just to make sure I'm not crazy. Confirmed the laptop has 2x USB Type C-3.2 Gen 1 ports and the drive is also USB Type C-3.2 Gen 1 and I have never seen this drive even get close to the advertised speeds. Extremely Disappointing!Update 3: I've found that the frequent disconnecting issue was a result of user error. Quick and to the point, Don't have your device in battery saver mode. I've had no issues with connectivity after finding this out. While the older 128gb sandisk pendrive i had didn't have the same issue this one has. I still prefer this as it doesnt get as hot as the older drive while having 4x the storage and slightly (albeit still slow) faster speeds. Worth it!
