XT Phosphor Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings, Custom Light, 11-52

I have been using these strings for a long time now. I play guitar almost every day, these strings are still holding good. 1. The sound is bright and vibrant. 2. The phosphor coating makes it quite resistant to rust. Now my strings have developed some rust, but it hasn't effected the sound quality by a lot. Well the only thing I didn't like was that, it is a little pricey set of strings. I bought it as I needed a good set if strings and wanted to get something new. Choose what your guitar wants and try new and different strings, who knows you might find something great for your guitar.

Review after 2 weeks of usage (used on Yamaha FS-800, concert shaped guitar) -The bass strings are surprisingly heavy, initially (after sometimes the tones gets balanced among all the strings) it totally overwhelms the mids and the highs, it's a good thing if you're heavy into strumming, but for me it took a bit to get used to as I play a lot of fingerstyle. -The mids. During the first 2 days the mids were very low sounding, there's no feel in the D and G strings. But as you keep playing the sound grows, after like 5 days to a week the mids really started to shine, now the mids are the best part about these strings. It truly sounds great. -The highs. Nothing special, it's there and gets the job done, but it's not very sharp (which is surprising considering it's a thinner gauge). Overall, I'd definitely recommend this to the beginners, if you're heavy into strumming get a thicker gauge, but for a mix of fingerstyle and strumming these strings are the way to go. PS- These are coated strings so it's long lasting, if you don't like to change string often get these, a bit on the costlier side but definitely will last you 3-4 times longer than the cheap non-coated strings.

DON'T BUY!! E(1st) and B string got rusted just in 2 weeks! Complete waste of money!

Tried these on as an experiment and I must say Im thoroughly satisfied with the results. The durability and ability of these strings to stay in tune for longer periods is a big plus point. I suppose the cost too is justified. A big YES to this

In the beginning the bass comes from these strings are real sweet with additional warmth, as I installed these in my Cort SFX-ME OP that has rosewood neck and ivory body, so now it's been a month and bass slightly decreased and mids increased, so yeah these are good, choose as per your taste in sound

The strings are good for guitarist looking for high treble / bright , I bought it thinking it would provide warm tones. Don't see the advantage of the high cost on these strings. Not very easy on the fingers

Langlebigkeit kann ich noch nicht beurteilen, ich habe die Saiten erst sei wenigen Wochen drauf und es gibt noch keine Verschleißerscheinungen. „Elastizität“ und „einfach zu halten“ sind für mich nicht absolut Top, aber diese Kriterien sind für mich eher sekundär, die Seiten haben schon eine gewisse „Kraft“, die für mich und meine Takamine-Gitarre wichtigste Eigenschaft ist für mich Top - nämlich der Klang, der bei jeder Anschlagsart einfach schön, brilliant und voluminös klingt.
