You can pretty easily update all these applications if there are features/functions that you need for other, more involved tasks.I've read a lot of comments about the cheap, generic MCs simply not working, but so far this MC is working fine. I'm not writing to it, just reading, so that should increase longevity. Besides, I can just create my own FreeMcBoot MC on a higher-quality MC now if I felt it was necessary (which I don't).Definitely well worth the price and performed flawlessly. If you're looking for a quality Soft-Mod FreeMcBoot, this is it.Cheers!

Worked exactly as advertised! I was looking for a way to revamp my old ps2, and I found out about Free McBoot. It was super simple, plug and play, and easy to use! For less than $20 you can’t go wrong!

This saved me when I botched another memory card. Ultimately liked this one better, and had to clone it to the other memory card (16MB).I think all 8MB are taken, because I was not able to add in an ELF file. Either that, or this is write protected. -1 star just for that.Other than that, I like what it came with and would recommend
