Screen Protector for iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 6s Plus, 5.5-Inch, Tempered Glass Film, 2-Pack

After trying out several expensive screen protectors for my iPhone 11 Pro, I was fed up with how quickly they would crack and how costly it was to replace them. I had initially bought a $80 protector, which cracked within months. I was tired of paying so much for screen protectors that didn’t last, so I decided to try something more affordable. That’s when I found the JETech screen protector. This two-pack was a game-changer. At around $5, I wasn’t expecting much, but I was blown away by the quality. The installation was surprisingly easy, and I didn’t get any bubbles under the screen, which has been an issue with other protectors I’ve tried. The fit is almost perfect, with just a tiny bit of overlap, which actually makes it easier to align than others that are a bit smaller. The oleophobic coating is smooth and doesn't attract fingerprints, making the touch experience just as good as it was without a protector. What impressed me the most was how well it protects my screen. When it did eventually crack, it was just a tiny, barely noticeable crack in the corner—nothing like the total fractures I experienced with the more expensive ones. I’ve never felt more at ease knowing that I have a reliable backup in the second protector from the pack. Even though I don’t need to replace the current one yet, I’m ordering another set because they’re just that good, and you can’t beat the price. These are great. 2 come in a package and they work well and have saved my screen more than once. I have to order some more because I’m hard on my phone at work. These are definitely worth the money and do their job well. No complaints about quality, fit, finish, or performance. They go on easy and look fine. Perfectly sized.

The product itself is good. The install of it sucks. Don’t go by their directions. The 2 flimsy pieces of tape they provide barely stick and fall off as you try to line up the glass with the glue side unpeeled. The microfiber cloth they give makes little orange dust particles as you wipe with it. My instructions below seem lengthy but I was trying to be as descriptive as possible. It’s really not that hard to do. Use these instructions and it will come out perfect. Take your phone out of your phone case. You need rubbing 70% rubbing alcohol. Clean the face of your phone to a mirror with a q-tip with the alcohol. Dry your phone with a microfiber cloth. Line up the glass with the plastic backing still on and use the two flimsy clear strips to hold it in place at the top of the phone. You want the tape to be making a hinge so have it half on the glass and half on the phone. The blue dust sticker that is provided is useless for dust however it works good as a stronger tape. Cut a piece of it off the bottom across it and use it as another piece of hinge tape. Cut the rest of the blue sticker in half going across which should leave you with 2 big blue squares. Put 1 blue square on the phone glass overlapping the hinge tape and the glass. You want to do this to prevent the tape from peeling up when hinging the glass to be laid down. Do the same thing on the back of the phone where the tape is attached. Flip the glass up and check again for dust and make sure the face of the phone is still a mirror. Peel the back film of of the glass and hinge it back on to the phone. Hold the glass by the edges so you don’t get any fingerprints on the glue surface of the glass. Line up the top of the glass with ear speaker and camera. Slowly lay the glass down onto the phone. There will be a little bit of slop so you have to make sure the home button cut out is lined up correctly. Let gravity take over, do not push on the glass. If you mess up you can still peel up the glass and realign it. When everything is lined up perfectly, use a credit card and work from the center of the glass out to the sides to push out any bubbles. Once all the bubbles are pushed out remove the hinge tape. Check for any other remaining bubbles and run your finger around the edges of the glass to fortify the bond to the phone face. Wipe down the glass with alcohol again with a q-tip and dry it with the microfiber cloth to a mirror. Put the phone back in your case and enjoy.

TLDR: it protected my screen from a screen-down 4-foot drop onto a sharp rocky driveway, was easy to replace/install, and is inexpensive for infrequent drops. Also, I spent longer typing this on my phone than I did installing the protector 🫠 Protection: I don’t drop my phone often, but when I do, I try and grab it and end up throwing it into the ground harder than it otherwise would have. In this way, I slammed it into my sharp rocky driveway screen down from about 4’. The screen-pro totally spidered, but my iPhone X (with case) was completely fine. Since the protector has a flexible gummy layer (much like auto glass), it was still usable (relatively comfortably) for the 3 days shipping until my new one arrived. Which brings me to… Install: Found the install easy; the stickers and cleaning kit make one-try alignment simple and it stuck instantly to my phone screen. Bubbles were easy to remove as well. Overall, had it replaced in ~5 mins from opening the box to tossing my busted screen-pro. Normally, I’d wager replacement would be challenging if your hand-eye coordination needs a tune-up, but that’s what the stickers are for. Anti-glare: I mean, I guess? It doesn’t make normal screen reflectiveness on my iPhone X worse.. But, as you can see in photo 2 (the one that I didn’t drop from a ladder and throw), there is a bit of reflection. Touch responsiveness: Yup. I touch and my screen registers it. Played some pubg (crazy I know) just to make sure it was fine. Maybe you’ll notice but I don’t. Thickness: It’s not thick. Like, 2 mm tops. Clarity: It’s clear. Cleans easily and doesn’t scratch. Also, when I totally spidered it in the aforementioned drop, I could still see through the cracked regions (photo 1). Conclusion: Yeah, totally great for sub $10 screen-pro. And you get two, which is nice. It saved my triple-digit-dollar phone from a screen replacement, so I’m happy. That’s honestly the only reason I’m writing this review. In a few mins (unlike this review), I had it replaced and a new one queued up for the next unexpected drop-test. It’ll probably protect your device too, as it held on strong for about 13 months before I spiked it off the ground and it cracked for the first time. Not sure why I feel so strongly about this. I've used this screen protector once before this second purchase. Needless to say this protector lives up to its name. I dropped my phone unexpectedly and didn't think much about it until I picked it up and my screen had a nice hole in it. At first glance it showed the outline of a rock 😳. I was so nervous to see if it went through to my glass screen and IT DID NOT! This screen protector really saved me from spending hundreds on a new screen! The fact I've had this screen protector on for months without any lifting, bubbles or lack of sturdiness is a testament to how great this product is. Shipping was quick and installation simple. Currently typing ease free with my replaced screen protector. I have an iPhone 11 Pro and it fits great and feels great.
