Other than the color, is the 20th anniversary dualshock any different from the ordinary dualshock 4?

Just the color of the original playstation controllers and the PS button has the original playstation logo. The touchpad is the same as the other dual shock 4 controllers and does not have the pattern that the ones that came with the 20th anniversary system had (they had to keep those special).

Does the touch pad on this controller have the PS 20th Anniversary pattern on it? Like the one that comes with the 20th Anniversary PS4 system?

As others have said, it just has the normal touchpad. They wanted to keep the controllers that came with the 20th anniversary system special. It still has the original Playstation gray color and the Playstation logo on the PS button. Slap some thumb stick grips on it to keep them from falling apart. Then when the FF7 remake comes out, full nostalgia trip. Can't wait.

does anyone if this is going to be a limited edition?

I'd guess they will have a limited run, but since they are trying to charge an extra $20 for a coat of grey paint ($45 for black DS4, $65 for PS1 grey), I'd expect then to be in stock for quite a while.

Why would you charge so much for a controller that's largely sold and easily available at a couple retail stores for a much lower price?

They selling it for this much because its not made anymore unfortunately for me somebody stole mine and i only paid 64$ for it now if i want one i gotta fork up 140$? 😂 yeah right
