This is a very nice case if you don't need something too rugged or protective. If you carry your iPad around a lot or frequently risk dropping it on hard surfaces, though, I would not recommend it. It will keep it from getting minor scratches, but I don't think it's going to prevent it from getting damaged when dropped. I use my iPad in the house for the most part, and it is mostly carpeted, so this works for me.The iPad Air 2 is significantly thinner and lighter if you're upgrading from an earlier model (1-4), so you'll be amazed at its size and weight. That's why I think a thicker case would be a better choice for me personally. But this case will be great if you just want to slide your iPad into your bag or briefcase. It will hardly take up any space. Again, though, don't drop it on a tile floor or on the pavement! The flap is "smart" and folds over your screen, which turns on and off according to what the flap is doing (turns on when you open, off when you close), so that gives some nice screen protection.Overall this is a fine case, especially if you're used to an expensive case from the BIG store. Just don't expect it to give rugged-type protection.I hope you found this review helpful.

This iPad case is absolutely beautiful—sleek design, nice color, and it looks very stylish. I was really impressed when I first received it. However, after a short period of use, the faux leather started peeling off, which was disappointing. I expected it to hold up better with regular use. It still offers decent protection, but the peeling takes away from the overall look and quality.
