Precision Rifle Marksmanship: The Fundamentals: A Marine Sniper's Guide to Long Range Shooting Review: Great Book...!!! - Agree with most of the reviews. It is a great book. It’s a reference! Beginners will benefit, and so will the intermediate shooters. The wind section is advanced for a novice shooter, like me. But the whole book deserves to be visited periodically. Yes, the author included chapters about his MC career. They did not bother me. I am a retired AF guy… Review: Five Stars for Frank Galli. Excellent book that is both Autobiography and Shooting Primer - This is a great book by a Marine Scout Sniper who served during the U.S. Military comeback of the 1980's into the early 2000's. Galli's personal stories of basic training and passing Scout Sniper selection at a time when few were paying attention-to or documenting the experiences is excellent and is a windonw into the rebound from the "Hollow Force" days of the 1970's. Galli's unit became one of the first Special Operations-Certified Marine units and served in some interesting places, including during the post-Gulf War period, policing illegal oil sales by Iraq and conducting other interesting operations. The book, however, is not just an autobiography. In fact, the main point of it is to provide the precision marksmanship community with some insights and tips. The chapter on 'Weaponized Math' is one of the best analyses of using math to improve shooting skills. The book is worth that chapter alone. Well done and highly-recommended for anyone interested in the history of the period or in improving their marksmanship skills.

Easy to read and on point!
Book is set-up that gives historical perspective from the author in every other chapter while focusing on relevant fundamentals with chapters in-between. A lot of the author's techniques and approaches dispel many of the myths behind what it takes to build a good foundation. If you want a good 4 hour read that gets you on the right track to breaking bad habits and knowing what you don't know: buy it, read it, and recommend to a friend.

Great reference text
As someone new to Precision Shooting I was anxious to obtain this book after one of my instructors recommended it. Large, thick and a treasure trove of information on the subject from one of the Leaders on the subject. The downsides were few: 1. Newspaper-esque paper though thicker for the pages. 2. Greyscale photos which make some details more difficult to see (to me anyway). If the cover stock had been a bit thicker, sturdier paper stock and digital color pictures would have made this great text even better. Too bad it’s not available in a hardback version with color photos. All in all highly recommended.

Finally found the ONE book … by AgentRecoil
I’ve often asked other shooters what ONE thing they would recommend for improving their accuracy. I’m always curious what ONE source they would recommend. No one could ever answer the question. They’d always say watch this, read that, go on the forums. But I already knew this as it was my current ‘training’ process. So if you’re like me I can tell you now, I have found the ONE source. In here you’ll find wind reading, fundamental positions, and more. It’s all here in ONE book. I bought both the Kindle version and the paperback. Thank you Frank Galli.

Great book to level up your shooting!
Frank's insights and information are jewels of wisdom. When you are ready to go beyond the 100 yard range, you'll understand what he's saying. The writing is clear and enjoyable. Read some, then go practice what you just read. You will become a better precision shooter.

Very helpful understanding those long distant shots. Very Understandable and good charts
Nothing to dislike. Book really helps understand what it takes to make that long shot from a person who made them in combat situations. Easy to understand reading, charts, heat, cold, conditions etc. DrDave. Utah

Gutes Buch .

Every other chapter is “story time” which makes for a delightful read. I’ll have to read the wind chapter at least one more time.
