Turkish Delight. The Best

So delicious and a rare find!
These are pectin-based Turkish Delight-style candies from Washington State. They’re usually only available around the Ho kiddy’s in the TV shopping channels, but when I found the here on Amazon, I was thrilled! If anyone is on a veg based or vegan diet, they’ll work for you, although we are not. They have no gelatin. They use fruit pectin to get the chewy texture and the taste is a delightful melange of fruit and some have nuts. Coated in powdered sugar, it’s impossible to eat just one! Makes a beautiful addition to a charcuterie board, because no one ever knows what they are. Great in a Bento or snack box for lunch too. Will continue to order. Beware: They’re addictive!

These are not applets and cotlets
This are the Liberty Orchard brand, but pay attention folks. They are called Fruit Delights, not Applets and Cotlets. I love A&C and have purchased them over the years every Christmas. But they have gotten increasingly expensive. So I saw these, which are reasonably priced and ordered 2 boxes immediately, They are not labeled as A&C because although they are basically the same thing, I think they just didn't pass QC. They are somewhat misshapen and some of the ones that came jumbled up in the box do not have either pecans or walnuts in them. They are still good, although it seems they are a lot sweeter and make my teeth ache. But if you want the real deal, get Applets and Cotlets.

Buyer beware - the discription is misleading
This product has a rather high cost for per serving of 2 powdered sugar coated jelly globs. The fruit flavors and nut flavors were very hard to recognize. I purchased these to find a replacement for Turkish Delights and was very disapointed. I will never buy these again.
