IS anyone having problems with the battery running out very quickly

Frankly it depends on what you expect. I previously owned a P900 and the battery life is similar if not better. I have always kept three batteries one in the camera and two charged ready to use

Does it come with a lens cap in the box and if not which one is recommended for the correct size

Hi, Yes lens cap is included inside the box.

What is the difference between this model and the international version ?

I suspect the international version might have the USA plug adapter for charging the battery. I woukd be surprised if the camera was different. I love it for its exceptional bird and moon photos.
