As described, excellent product

I bought this black, Sandtex smooth, paint for the brickeork around my house. The bottom 4 bricks all around my house had been painted black in the past. There wasn't much left of it. This paint goes onto the bricks so easily. It just goes on. You dip your brush and start painting. It's smooth. It covers effortlessly. It really goes on so well. Even when yiu spread it too far. A bit thin. It covers. You can't see through it. I suppose that you could put it on very thinly. I mean, no matter how thinly I applied it, it covered. I put it on fairly thickly. But, not enough to cause it to run. Yes. It's fantastic, the way it covers bricks! The problem with it is that it doesn't cover the cement between the bricks. It's like the cement repels the paint. You could paint the bricks in a wall in minutes. And spend days trying to paint the cement. In the end, I diluted some with water. About half and half. Then, it went onto the cement very quickly. I gave it 2 coats. I don't think that I needed to. It was the only way to paint the cement with it. In the end it was easier to dilute it and paint it all at tge same time. 2 coats. It looks just the same as the parts that took me 2 days. But, I did it in galf an hour. Someone will say that I shouldn't have diluted it, but with it neat it just wouldn't stick to the cement. Perhaps, next time, I'll try a different brand.

So easy to apply and only needed 1 coat. Lovely finish

Superb cover. Need 2 coats. Slightly matt finish would prefer slight sheen. On par with Dulux weathershield which is seriously overpriced now. Hot day touch dry in 30 min. True to colour solid black.
