The Twelve South AirFly Pro is an excellent accessory
**Twelve South AirFly Pro - Wireless Transmitter/Receiver for AirPods & Wireless Headphones**As someone who frequently travels and prefers using wireless headphones, I was intrigued by the Twelve South AirFly Pro. This device promises to bridge the gap between traditional in-flight entertainment systems and modern wireless audio devices, making it an attractive option for frequent flyers like myself.**What I Like:**- **Versatile Functionality**: The AirFly Pro can function as both a transmitter and a receiver, which is a huge plus. As a transmitter, it allows me to connect my AirPods or other Bluetooth headphones to any device with a headphone jack, such as airplane entertainment systems, gym equipment, or even older stereo systems. As a receiver, it turns wired speakers or car stereos into Bluetooth-compatible devices.- **Dual Headphone Support**: One of the standout features is the ability to connect two sets of headphones simultaneously. This is perfect for sharing a movie or music with a travel companion on a flight, ensuring both of us can enjoy wireless audio without any hassle.- **Compact and Portable Design**: The AirFly Pro is small and lightweight, making it easy to carry in a pocket, purse, or carry-on bag. It comes with a handy keychain attachment, so I never have to worry about losing it during my travels.- **Long Battery Life**: The battery life is impressive, offering up to 16 hours of use on a single charge. This is more than enough for even the longest flights, and the device can be recharged quickly using the included USB-C cable.**What I Don’t Like:**- **Initial Pairing Process**: While pairing the AirFly Pro with my headphones was relatively straightforward, it took a couple of attempts to get everything connected properly. Once paired, it worked flawlessly, but the initial setup might require some patience.- **Audio Lag**: There’s a slight audio lag when watching videos, especially on older in-flight entertainment systems. It’s not a deal-breaker, but it can be noticeable if you’re sensitive to audio sync issues. The lag is minimal but worth mentioning for those who prioritize perfect synchronization.- **Price**: The AirFly Pro is on the pricier side for an accessory, but given its versatility and functionality, I find it justifiable. However, if you’re only planning to use it occasionally, you might need to weigh the cost against the frequency of use.**Bottom Line:**The Twelve South AirFly Pro is an excellent accessory for anyone who wants to use their wireless headphones with devices that don’t support Bluetooth, particularly during air travel. Its versatile functionality, ability to connect two headphones simultaneously, and long battery life make it a must-have for frequent flyers. While the initial pairing process might require some patience and there’s a slight audio lag with video, the overall convenience and performance make it a worthwhile investment for those looking to enjoy wireless audio wherever they go.

Works great, get a dual male-to-female adapter so it'll work on any plane!
Easy to charge, easy to pair up with your headphones (mine are Bose), easy to plug into the airplane jacks, no sound lag, great performance. They work on airplanes with either 2-prong or 3-prong jacks, too. For both of those types of airplane headphone jacks, I plugged the AirFly's single prong into the female hole on my male-to-female headphone adapter, like this one: https://www.amazon.com/Airplane-Adapters-Female-Airline-Headphone/dp/B07GB76D89/On Aer Lingus which has three holes for the three prongs on the headphones they provide and which I did not want to use, the two female holes on the top of the airplane jack are for left and right sound channels, and the one female hole on the bottom is for noise cancellation. But if your headphones provide noise cancellation, like my Bose do, you don't need to plug anything into that hole.

Worked Great During My Recent Trip
Why did it take me so long to get one of these? Never thought that they would be as effective, but in my last trip to Japan consisting of an 11-hour flight, this adapter paired wonderfully with my Bose over-the-ear noise cancelling headset. It also lasted for the three movies I watched without any problems, although it would have been easy enough to recharge, but I didn’t have to. Yes, it takes a few brief tries to pair it with your headset, but once done, it works great. When you use it on an airplane there is a very slight few seconds delay in finding your headset, but the bluetooth connectivity worked great. An indispensable piece of gear for those long flights and the quiet enjoyment of onboard entertainment.

Very useful! With a bit of temporary problems
My computer bluetooth was no longer working, so I needed a bluetooth to audio connection adapter so I can continue to listen to music while working. This was one of the first products to show up, and seeing the reviews, it seemed like it works great, so I decided to order this and try using it.I do not regret it! First off it was easy to connect the first time to my earphones and plug into my computer. Easy to put away, especially because of its small size and little bag included. The sound is also great compared to my earphones originally with no static at all. Also to those wondering, it connects not only to Apple products but also any other earphones or headphones.I couple things to watch out for though, is that first off the sound would sometimes cut off and you would have to restart the AirFly device to reconnect the sound. Usually it disconnects on average (For me) about every 30 - 60 minutes when using for prolonged time. Also, sometimes the sound would start going a bit bad, and usually to fix it, I would have to restart my earphones to fix it. Although after using it for more times, the problem becomes less of a problem and occurs less often.Overall 4 stars for its usefulness, but also for its time-to-time problems.

Easy to use and good performance.
The transmitter paired with a car I was renting easily and I played music from my mp3 player on a trip I just took. The sound was good and I was very happy with my purchase. I recommend this product. The only thing to watch is that it did not come with a charged battery. At first it seemed like it wasn’t pairing but it needed to be charged first and then it worked without any issues.

I Needed This!
This is exactly what I was looking for! Very versatile. I used it because I have an older Bose CD player that doesn't have W-Fi. It paired quickly and easily with my Bose Quiet headphones. I expected that because I checked to be sure the headphones were compatible with this gadget. Great packaging, instructions were easy enough to decipher, and I am totally satisfied with my purchase. I wish it would turn off automatically when not in use. I don't think it does that, and if you forget to move the toggle control off, it will drain the charge.
