I rarely review products but am for this excellent product. This is a sturdy, well-made product with a perfect weight/thickness. It's easy to put on and take off, and it has a well-functioning blue seal that grips your arm. This is a way superior solution to the trash bag + rubber band alternative. It was excellent for showers. For me, the highlight was that it worked really well in the pool & jacuzzi; i used it for this on 3 separate occasions. If you use it for the pool, I would go in for a bit holding your hand in the water but upward to test the seal, but it worked just fine for me. Highly recommend & felt it was a great value.

I had surgery on my non-dominant wrist, and it made me realize how often I use that hand/arm even though it isn’t dominant - especially in the shower! This protective sleeve was perfect - the arm hole has a sufficiently pliable water barrier that allowed me to easily insert my wrist without aggravating the incision, but it then kept moisture out while I showered. Easy to get on and off, easy to keep clean, and just what I needed for the 6 weeks I wasn’t allowed to get my wrist wet.

I recently had hand surgery and I was required to keep the several incisions dry (still am) until my doctor tells me otherwise. I purchased the Asunby Waterproof Cast and Bandage Protector (a product suggested by a nurse). I ordered it and received it about 5 hours later that day. Following directions, I placed it on my arm and proceeded to take a shower. It kept me completely dry. I toweled off my shoulder and upper arm and then gently eased the device off my arm and hand and draped it over the shower curtain to dry. It is an ingenious product that does what it says. It is made of heavyweight non latex material with a soft, comfortable watertight seal that appears to be neoprene like material. The opening appears small but stretched to fit my upper arm. There are various sizes and types of choices available—hand, short arm, long arm, foot, short leg, knee, long leg and IV / PICC line options available as well as pediatric sizes. The product is well designed and made. It was very economical and worked much better than plastic bags would have. I chose the long arm option in the event that I would need it for a different use in the future. I plan to keep it (knock on wood). It is made in China. I’m very happy with the product quality and results.

The media could not be loaded. My right arm is in a cast. It was super easy to pull over my cast and have the seal at my bicep. I try to keep it out of the water as much as possible just in case.... but eventually I let the water run down it just to see.No water came in.The protector is HUGE tho. I'm 5'2" and 140#. It was clearly made for huge people or the most enormous casts and splints.One thing I want to mention is that moisture does naturally occur. If u wrap ur arm or body part in plastic, like saran wrap, ur body does sweat. It's the same with this protector. So I personally feel some of these reviews are not so accurate. They say it leaked, but some of the pictures just look like the natural moisture that occurs, not because of a defective product.My arm was hardly damp, my cast was dry. But I could tell it was like sweat beads on my arm.U can see in the video there is a little moisture inside, but I do take extremely hot showers and my arm felt really warm in there, so it's definitely moisture coming from my arm, not from the shower itself.I hope to never be in a cast again, but if i was, I'd use this again. I plan on keeping it, just in case I ever need it again.I gave 4 stars, just because it's way oversized and very bulky.

Easy to use and effective!

This cast cover works perfectly for keeping the water off the cast while showering. My son has used the thinner disposable ones previously that worked well, but the cast he has right now goes past his elbow. This one covers it easily and makes showering so much easier with the cast.

Only have used it once but it is a God sent works well and keeps my cast dry.
