Difficult Puzzle for Adults - The Cracked Egg - 7 Piece Wood Brain Teaser Made in The USA from Creative Crafthouse

Fast delivery, well made. Its pretty darn hard to solve and challenging. I bought a couple of these to give to the grandkids. This is the second puzzle I have from this American company, and I will buy more.

Well made....but so far, I haven't solved it. It's really tough.

Few "dissection" puzzle that claim to be very difficult really are, but this one is a masterpiece. I've got an entire set of colleagues that really enjoy puzzles like this one, and this one was truly a stumper for most of them. The puzzle itself is quite innovative and very, very challenging, and the precision fabrication of the pieces is nice as well (I've had more than a few pentomino sets from other suppliers that were somewhat sloppy in their construction, and that's not the case here. The parts fit with impeccable precision) A few helpful comments, however: 1. The product delivered to me was a larger version of the puzzle than the one shown here. I didn't mind, the larger version is quite nice, but other buyers may want to be aware of it. 2. Like some, but not all, other laser cut wood products I've gotten, this one has a pretty strong burnt wood smell to it that I hope subsides a bit. But overall, a truly enjoyable puzzle.

Love the puzzle, but don't like the writing at the bottom which can make people feel bad about their performance. I think anyone who solves a puzzle is a winner no matter how long it took. FYI - I tried to beat this in a fair situation while watching kids and it was not ideal. So I came home and bought my own version. I solved it rather quickly because there was no distractions at home. However, if it took a child about 30 min to solve this, I would not call them slow because this stretched their thinking and problem solving. I should have found a version without the lame comments in the bottom left. The puzzle's solution is not easily forgotten and not hard to re-figure out, so its not as much re-playability as others. However, I find that once you solve the puzzle you then have to remember how to put the pieces back in unsolved for storage, so its really two puzzles in one.

This is such a fun puzzle for all ages. Out of 8 of us there, only one person got this right away! Some of us never did get it to work out! Neat gift you could personalize for someone to make even more special.

Ok puzzle, too bad they made it out of MDF, (cardboard) and not real wood.

Very nice gift. Wood is soft. It comes as shown. No box. Be aware that instructions are inside so better open plastic seal and take them out so there is no temptation. This was a gift. The person trying to solve it invested a whole afternoon and could solve it by himself. It was solve in another half an hour with some help. I guess it could have been solved in a whole day with more patience.
